We absolutely loved our stay while in Amsterdam. The rooms were clean. The beds were comfortable and the food delicious. The fresh yogurt was out of this world and eating by candlelight for each meal was such a nice touch.

Great hotel with all comforts, there is a bus stop right in front of it, in 20 mins you are in Amsterdam center. Great for the hot summer as it had air condition. If you don't have the buffet, you can still have a breakfast at the coffee bar.

This is the best hotel! I strongly recommend you to stay there. The place is quiet and very beautiful. The hotel has an absolutely high standard of service. Rooms are perfect. The reception was very pleasant and qualified and always ready to help. I really liked the restaurant, food and drinks. It is the best choice for those who want to explore Old Holland. You can hire a bicycle in the hotel and go to Volendam, Edam or even Marken. And you can also go to Amsterdam at any time, just catch the bus and you will arrive in the city for about 30 minutes.

I travel a great deal. This is a 4 star Hotel.
The price for a family room, as I was on holiday is less than £80 a night. Spacious room, very clean and tidy, massive en suite. And a lovely view. Large TV, fridge excellent coffee machine. Good beds.
The food in the restaurant is excellent with a wide choice and suits all ages and pocket. I would recommend this Hotel to everyone and certainly makes Volendam and Edam worth a visit.

Excellent hotel, very inexpensive, good service. Easy access to Amsterdam with bus right outside running every 10 mins to all sites. Good food and get a feel of the Amsterdam country. Rent bicycles to go for a leisurely ride in the country.

Great location, great food and a very good stay. I recommend if you in the area it a good place to stay.

Perfect to escape the too small areas of Amsterdam and the prices too high. The corner is great for walking around by bike and reserves some nice surprises in the sandstone of the escapades. For those who want to go to Amsterdam no PB 20mn bus or car.

Fancy hotel. You have to stay two days at least to take advantage of its amenities.

Nice hotel from the inside. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is super tasty and there are plenty of hot and cold drinks included in the food. Landscape around it is totally beautiful and the bus leaves right in front of the hotel. After Amsterdam, the road is not far away!

Spacious leisure hotel. For drivers conveniently located between Amsterdam and the brand Sea. Volendam, Amsterdam and Hoorn are very well connected by high speed buses. Very relaxing for the visit to Amsterdam.

The staff were very helpful and the room was clean.

The kitchen here is better than it is in several other vanderValk restaurants. They have many fresh fish dishes, because of the proximity of the Volendam fisherman's harbour.

A mass operation with buses, in the restaurant it is so noisy that entertainment is almost impossible. I would recommend to look at the nearby Marina Volendam (about 2 km away), or on the promenade in Volendam a restaurant.

Great breakfast, bus No. 316 right on your doorstep to Amsterdam Centraal, perfect. If I want to go to Amsterdam, then van der Valk Volendam.

Friendly but without being an exceptional address.

Super nice hotell. Like all van der valks. But if you are staying in amsterdam I would not reccomend it. Need to take a bus for 30minutes to get here. It is located in a village on the far outskirts of amsterdam there is not much to do here bit good price and if you want to see the dutch countryside it is perfect.

Price performance ratio is top.

Stayed here for the weekend from the 12th to 14th Jan 2018. Nice hotel with helpful staff. Restaurant does some amazing dishes, and the breakfast can't be faulted. Overall experience was amazing… Would I come back? Definetely a yes from me…

Quite pleasant hotel, only the reception was a bit slow to wait over 1st until we got a room.
Otherwise top pool was very good and also the in-house bar was price/performance very reasonable.

Love the friendly employees. The bar is open til one and I LOVE hanging out in their patio. Many different people hang out out there from all let and it's jjtmst such an amazing plkace to meet new people.

Modern hotel with good breakfast, Renovated bathrooms and many free parking spots. This hotel is perfect for discovering Amsterdam, because the bus which stops in front of the hotel takes you to the central station in about 25min. The only down side was the old heating which was making loud noise during the night. Thanks for having us.

Wonderful hotel. We come every year. Rooms are great. Facilities are excellent. Restaurant is superb but a little pricey. Lots of car parking space and easy to get to other near by towns by car or public transport.
