Good hotel with nice rooms and easy airport access.

They are telling a wrong information regarding in breakfast. In evening shift they says the breakfast is 6:00am-10:00am so we decided to take our breakfast arround 09:30am at the end we didn't take our food because in morning shift staff they says to us only til 09:00am. Our concern is the wrong information… Please take immediately action… Thank you.

Very basic hotel, far from main crowd and you need to change the shuttle to be at hotel. In morning shuttle starts 5:45 so paid extra 35 euro to reach the airport. Not really happy.

Good place. Value for money. They do have a shuttle service to drop off at Schiphol so you don't have to spend 15 Euros on a cab.

We enjoyed our stay at the Bastion Hotel. Location wise it's definitely not for walking around… it's in a pretty small town with not much around. That being said the free airport shuttle service combined with comfy rooms and a nice hotel make for a good layover stay.

The room is not too large, the surface is clean, but there are garbage cans in the past guests garbage, wash basin do not understand why so narrow and device so low, front desk and restaurant, bar staff working attitude generally. For one like is bath water enough and heat.

Best place to stay, the only downside is that you don't have that much store's to buy food and thing's.

Clean and good service. Have free shuttles to and from the airport every half hour, just ask the front desk if you're not sure.

I have stayed before in a sister hotel from Bastion and it was the same warm bath. Friendly staff. A nicely furnertured room. A simple but nice restaurant. And even that you are almost underneath the airport runway it still felt tranquil. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that there is always room for growing. I personally will recommend others to go to the Bastion hotel.

The receptionist lied me to leave before and re-sell my room
I booked by mistake in this hotel, I wanted to booked on the Bastion Noord. Unfortunately, I booked a non-ref rate, I tried to convinced them but they didn't want to move my reservation to the other hotel and either a refund, that's OK. I booked for 3 nights so on the 2nd day the receptionist called me at 11:50 am asking me if I would like to move to other hotel, so I told him that I already booked another one for t…he last night, the receptionist told me that he have to call the head office and will contact me again. After 5min, at 11.55 am, he called again saying that the head office agreed to do the refund from the last night if I leave the room before 12.30 pm, so I did. Then in the reception he refunded me 5.00 euros saying that the refund from the room will be transfer on my account by Expedia
Expedia sent me a email today saying that they regret to do my refund. So the receptionist lied me to leave before to re-sell my room?

Cheap, the beds are very soft. The bathroom is cramped, rooms are so far o. K.

Its a quite good hotel. The hotel has many branches all over Netherlands. From the Amsterdam Airport this hotel is 15 mins away. They have hotel shuttles also which are free. They offer great deals. And the hotel is quite cheap. The hotel staff is also very polite and helpful.

Very good hotel in terms of price compared to quality. The rooms are quite spacious, they offer a nice bathroom and the beds are comfortable. The television has a nice, large screen and enough channels. Unfortunately, the walls and doors do not isolate/block sound that well, so when the guest in the room opposite to my room was watching TV, I could hear this very loudly.

Clean rooms. Nice staff. Good location for public transport.

Not recommended for those who want to stay in Amsterdam, the slight savings on the reservation results in a huge outlay for travel by public transport which, have deadly prices.
Better to book in the Center also spending 30% more;
You will save time and flexibility, as well as many but many euros for transport.
Amsterdam as all the great cities of the north is ahead of 100 years… compared to Rome but, the bad is that once inside, kilometer after kilometer is repeated… you live a kind of lup… (Not for other effects…)

Hotel very cheap, aesthetically beautiful rooms, breakfast just decent but location and bad services. Inside the room there was not even a bottle of water in the fridge and the radiators (in February) were off. I had to turn them on manually…

Hotel was like last time 1a! Clean and the staff courteous.
However, you should prefer to eat outside.
Burger for €16 was not edible.

It's better to read staff reviews and guest reviews and especially staff wanted by these hotels before giving a review! The one star given here is needed to post my comments.

Rooms are nice, good food and very friendly staff. Down side is we got a sleep and shuttle deal, bus run every 30 mins BUT NOT 24 hours so we had to pay an extra €40 for a taxi to get to the airport at 3:30am which sucked big time. Please update your website to make this clear for future customers.

Unfortunately, our stay was not a total success. Reservation and final invoice problems. Within this price range, in afraid other hotels wuthin the Schiphol area are a better option. Please be advised that rooms provide the Bible on the night stand. Something I thought girls stopped doing since last century.

We arrived around 10:30pm for a single night stay. Check in took half an hour and was confusing as despite being pre-booked, after asking to include breakfast, the initial price quoted was over 100 euros. After some discussion, the correct price for 3 breakfasts was provided. Breakfast resulted in an omelette with ham, cheese & tomato. You could then help yourself to bread, meats, croissant and tea/coffee.

Worst table service in my life. Nearly 30 minutes for the main (1 person) to come, over 30 minutes from the point of having my main dish cleared, for my dessert to arrive. Assistant Manager Rick has no idea what he's doing and clearly has 0 experience waiting tables. The whole food menu is 9 or 10 items, and he had to take my dessert order THREE TIMES.

We were here just one night. We have a clean room with twin beds. There is swimming pool and gym on the ground floor. I swam in the pool I was alone there. The water was a little cold but still nice. It was a little cloudy not clear. There are clean towel at the pool. There are always some candies on the front desk :) But the receptionist gave us wrong information about train scadule. We wanted to go to city center late evening and she said us there is a train every hour to hoofdrop after midnight but there wasn't. We had to use Uber to get to the hotel at 2am.

Empty bottles in shower, hairdryer didn't work and nearly blew up, taxi wasn't called by staff for a 5am flight which I missed due to this. Shower was clogged so flooded the room. Pillows were awful.

Out of the way, 24/7 coffee, great service.

My first impression was that The hotel seemed a little dated. After leaving the lobby and entering the hall that led to our room I started to get very worried. The hallway was dark and smelled really really bad. Thank God the room room was decently clean, however, the shower was DISGUSTING. I booked this hotel last minute and it was fine for the time, but I doubt I will stay there again.

Great ambience. Loved the food served, mildly flavoured and freshly served. The rooms are great.

The hotel is good it is pretty cheap. Only that the breakfast costs €14, 00 is up to here, nothing bad just that the buffet is flooded by flies and this staff does not give any discomfort even when I asked him about this, the response was a shrug of the shoulders as if to say everything's normal.

A bit remote but yet accessible. Also there is a private Bus you to the Hotel to the Airport bring. Rooms are very clean and pleasantly decorated. Beds are totally comfortable. Staff very friendly. Happy again:)

Pleasant staff, very helpful. Free shuttle to the airport. Good food at the restaurant. Accepted my Discover credit, which no one else seems to do in Europe, so that was cool.

Not exactly the cleanest Hotel, and at Breakfast there is a shortage on supply.

A comfortable hotel at a good price, located not far from Amsterdam. On the other hand, bad point for the restaurant part: The menus are expensive and the plates little trimmed. One of my friends also had fries still half frozen on his plate.

I like this place, I have never seen anyone cleaning beer glasses like the girl Nise behind the bar.

Nothing to phone home about.

The shuttles are nice and timely. The rooms are narrow/small but clean. I was denied breakfast for coming 5 minutes late after 9:00. Except bed and breakfast do not expect any additional service. For instance you can't get a bottle of water. Cup of tea is available in the rooms.
