Superb hotel with affordable cost.

Really liked the hotel. Would definitely visit again!

Front end manager was cranky and non professional —
Booked a room for 4 adults. Had 3 towels, 3 coffee mugs, 3 glasses. The electric mirror in bathroom did not work, and the electrical outlet on the mirror was also out. Terrible parking arrangements, no porter to help move bags, their standard excuse for everything was “we are a 3 star hotel, not a 5 star”
No ice making machines, no ice holder for any ice when we got some from the front desk.
Even a motel 6 with their 1 star rating has ice available.
Breakfast are had very runny eggs both mornings, one of the 2 coffee machines was broken down, I can go on and on.
Won’t be coming back here. One bright spot was Cynthia at the front desk, she tried to help as nest she could, so kudos go out to her as the only positive experience.

They said they dont have a free room so I must stay with my baby in this dirty room. Really nice! And we booked a double room and received in return a twin room. After today we received a message telling us how was your stay?
We told them that we will arive at 23:00, buy the plane had a delay so we arrived at 2:00 so I also must take care that my baby wont fall from the bed

The location is fantastic. Easy to get to from Amsterdam central station or Amsterdam airport. Close to shops, bars, restaurants, entertainment and transport. Well designed, comfortable reception and lounge. Wonderful staff throughout the hotel. Very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Very clean hotel. Lovely bedroom. Comfy bed and pillows. Free safe, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, iron and ironing board and brilliant shower and bathroom. Flat screen TV with a great selection of channels for most nationalities. Very efficient air conditioning. The breakfast buffet is exceptional. Great choice, very tasty and constantly replenished. Highly recommended!

The open air terrace lounge bar is an awesome place to grab some beers.

Very bad experience at the reception. Cold employee, not even smiled once.
Asked me for a 100€ guarantee in case I would leave without paying the mini-bar… But there isn't even a mini-bar in my room.
Room is cold. Air conditioning doesn't seem to be working.

Good location The thing that I consider serious is the impossibility of closing the bathroom door in your room. I don't mean to key, but just close it normally. Sometimes it's pretty embarrassing.

Nice place. I liked both the accomodation and the services. The gym so minimalist, but I loved it also. I would recommend it to everybody.

The Hampton Hotel had everything we needed for our stay in Amsterdam! It was simpel but at the same time perfect. Simpleness is perfection! The guy behind the front desk (sadly enough we didn't ask or saw his name) was very kind and helpful. Wonderful staff.

As usual, everything is super. Room, breakfast, location, accessibility of transport. I didn't even doubt it.

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel, a clean well-appointed room, pleasant, helpful staff and very convenient to the train station. A full buffet breakfast was offered and even though it was well attended by the guests, I was not disappointed by the quality of the food presented, or by the experience. Not bad at all!

The rooms are reasonably well equipped with all of the essentials such as a kettle, a steam iron and a hair dryer. Rooms come with complimentary breakfast, which is great. There is a good variety of items available during breakfast. The hotel staff is helpful and understanding. Would definitely recommend!

Location is great — for eateries, entertainment, shopping and travel. Cost — I booked in advance so very reasonable for what we got! Service — Fabulous. The front desk team were always friendly and helpful. Cleaning team were too, Gladys is great! Rooms — comfortable with more facilities than expected. My room window ran alongside the foyer ceiling — I'm really really sensitive to sound so wasn't great but wouldn't put me off returning. The rest had rooms on upper levels so had no such issues. Breakfast — limited options compared to some but enough to get you to lunchtime. Would Definitely Return.

Great location, near a train station, 15 minutes to Schipol airport, 15 minutes to Centraal Station. Many good restaurants around the area. Very nice and friendly staff. Delicious buffet breakfast.

Great location, right on the ArenA, ~ 15 minutes from the center. Despite the station right next door, there was hardly any of that to be heard, even breakfast was top. In the bathroom it is probably not planned that there is a chouled brush, also our bathroom door can not be completely closed.

It's a very clean house with friendly amenities. But now after the first night there are a few unsightly facts.
1. The mattress was as hard as I've never experienced before.
2. The toilet is equipped with a sliding door that does not really close and is also very light hearing. A big deal with all its side noises misses the necessary discretion here. Not to mention the missing toilet brush.
Otherwise, the connection right next to the station is very good. Shops and restaurants are also nearby. 10 minutes by rail to the city centre. It doesn't get any better than that.

Nice clean hotel. Cons: First, we had some maintenance issues with the plumbing twice which were promptly taken care of, but it was an annoyance. Secondly, the air conditioning did not work properly in our room no matter what you set it on. It would turn off and on at random and it was mostly hot in the room especially in the evening. I know Europeans run their AC a lot lower than the US, but I am comparing it to the AC we had in the hotels in France and London that we also stayed at during this trip. Pros: Friendly staff. Breakfast is amazing, lots of options hot or cold. Rooms were clean and good size for Europe. Located outside of the Arena train station making it very convenient to get around. We would consider staying here again. Maybe try a different room.

Great service, nice simple room. Comfortable bed, well lit. Big windows. Shower is not at steady temperature but pressure settings are nice.

Great location for going to an event at the ziggy dome, music hall or the stadium. Right next to the tram stop to head into the centre of town too if you want to. Also quick access to the airport with a direct train. Room was comfy and modern with no complaints about cleanliness at all.

The hotel is mediocre. Breakfast is below average, the only plus next to the Metro.

Convenient location close to train and Metro station. A few steps from the Ziggo Dome and the stadium in a very well served area of shops and restaurants. There's also a multiplex in front. Basic but clean rooms with possibility to make a coffee or a tea. In the lobby there is water and fresh fruit for the customers. Breakfast buffet Super.

The breakfast was nice but I just hate that I couldn't open the windows to let some fresh cool air in! It was the middle of the winter, and I had to use the AC to cool the room down. So bad for the environment.

Great hotel located on the outskirts but well connected by metro and train. 20 minutes to the centre of Amsterdam and 15 to the airport. Next to the Amsterdam Arena. Ideal to visit the city and relax away from the bustle.

The parking fee of 22nd 50€ per day is very enormous.

The hotel is located 15 minutes by train and metro to the center. What we did is buy the card (26€) which served to 3 days of public transport (metro, train, tramway and bus) that way we save a lot of money and we walked all over Amsterdam, the card has no limit of travel, it only expires after 3 days! The station of subway, train and buses is 50 metres from the hotel (opposite the hotel), the meters pass every 7 minutes and there are direct train to the airport. They gave us room before account, so that we deeply appreciate as we arrived in the early hours of the morning and the check-in we were given the room at 15:00. The breakfast is very complete, has everything, super varied and very good. Service employees perfect, very kind always with smile on the face! In terms of cleanliness, comfort and decor of the hotel I give it a 10! The beds are super comfortable, with linens and towels good white. You sleep very well there is no noise. The room includes tea making facilities and heating. There is a street full of shops (restaurants, clothing stores, supermarkets…) next to the hotel, also a mediamarkt, decathlon and stadium ajax (football team). Our experience was amazing and we will go without thinking twice!

Good hotel with a great location to Bijlmer. I have frequented on many occasions, and the staff is attentive and the rooms correct.

A good backup plan! Quality for the price paid, accompanied by a good breakfast. However, the location is not ideal.

The hotel is standard, nothing really negative or positive to say. My only concern is that shampoo, body wash, etc. Comes out of fixed dispensers. If you open one of these up, you'll find a lot of blue coloration everywhere, presumably from chemicals leaching out of the dispenser. It would be nice if the dispensers were changed out to address the leaching chemicals.

It was a very nice Hotel. The included breakfast was delicious. The room had a good looking design and a safe to safely store your belongings. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Only the carpet in the room was a bit odd looking but all in all a great hotel.

Good choice for everyone who is in business trip. Personal is very nice and pleasant. Beautiful breakfasts with self-made waffles (people really like it and cook them continuously) and English breakfast set (bacon, beans, omelet). Rooms a relatively small and not ideally equipped — no bathrobe and slippers, as well as dental kit. Last you may ask on reception.

Great location, lovely clean facilities and good breakfast choice. However, when we checked in we were told we had to pay again (eventhough the room was prepaid) and when we explained we had already paid the receptionist demanded proof — luckily I had access to this but not the smooth check in we would have hoped for.

Clean, nice room, very comfortable bed, every day cleaning — strong 3 stars hotel. No bathrobe, no slippers, no minibar or fridge, no room service, no even a bottle of water in the room. It you want to eat something, you need to go to the bar outside of the hotel. Train station very close, direct and fast train to the airport.

A good quality hotel, with nice staff over there. The rooms are small with no view but it is good for a short stay.

I've now been here quite a few times, up to the point the people at reception start to know your name. Always very friendly and accommodating… The rooms are not spartan but still sober, with a nice bathroom. And when relaxing with a book in the lobby in the evening, the bar has a selection of beers and a good "monkey shoulder". When the weather allows, the place next door has a busy terrace outside. Overall a nice place for my frequent stays.

Breakfast is great, with plenty of choice. The staff is very friendly and ready to help you. The rooms look modern although they can get quite cold and the view isn't anything special. There is no restaurant in the hotel but there are plenty of choices right next to it. The hotel is next to the metro/train station which is great but it's still 15 minutes from the city center by metro. Overall the experience was good for the price and I would recommend if you want an affordable & quality stay.

Good location for a good price, the service is polite and fast, they have a breakfast buffet and the service at the reception 24 hours is formidable in any unexpected situation.

Super Hotel directly at the Stadium of Ajax Amsterdam.

Nightmare, overbooked, excessive promises for another hotel, which was then not in Amsterdam. Promised taxi to the replacement hotel arrived only 1 hour later and we were still given too little money for the taxi. Will file a complaint.

Great hotel. Very good breakfast. Rooms are comfortable too. Will definitely stay there when I come back to Amsterdam. The hotel is next to Bijlmer station so it's very easy to go to the city center.

Beautiful location But very disappointed with our experience. 1st night — two single beds rather than the double we booked. Couldn't change rooms (and the duty Manager WOULDN'T see us! ) so refund for one night given. Next morning we were given a new room but it hadn't been made up and we were promised this would be done. 13 hours later we returned at 2am and the room had not been made up. The sheets and towels were changed when we complained but the room wasn't cleaned. Another refund given. On the whole we were terribly let down regardless of the refund. Not recommended if you are looking for a relaxing stay.

Unfortunately, Windows cannot be opened. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was very good. Ideal for a long weekend. Directly at the station and the arena. I'm sure it can be noisy.

Good hotel right on the metro and train. You drive to the city centre for about 1 hour. If there is no football game, then it is a very quiet area. Room clean. There are no toilet brushes in the bathrooms in the rooms. This is very strange. The breakfast is good and plentiful.

Have already occupied several hotels in Amsterdam, but that was until now the best hotel! Great clean rooms, super friendly staff, a great breakfast buffet! And although the hotel is located directly at the metro station, there is nothing to be heard in the rooms! All in all a great hotel, come back again!

Out of town area that's a shopping centre. Directly opposite large train station so 10 mins to city. Nice breakfast with usual cooked sausage/bacon/eggs and some small daily variations. No mini bar and no bath (only shower) in room. Bathroom door didn't close completely and tea/coffee wasn't restocked one day, though more are available at breakfast.

A LOT OF CARE! I spent a few hours there and when you leave the room I forgot an envelope with money. The phone call the deal was very bad. I did not see the money. I wrote a complaint and no one answered me. Amsterdam is very large, I would choose to sleep under a bridge before I sleep again.

Very nice and helpful staff and very good location. The rooms are clean but very basic. No coffee maker, no mini bar. The breakfast however became a problem after two days. The eggless-scrumbled-eggs were barely edible, juices were pure sugar (especially cranberry) and the variety was… Nonexistent. I probably wouldn't mind if I stayed for two days but after third… OK, the breakfast is considered 'complementary' but given the price of the room… Not so much.

An Internet point is also available with two computers and a printer, a fitness room, a bar service active 12:00 am and of course Wi-Fi in all rooms.

My wife went there with the kids. Very pleasant, friendly and polite staff. Clean and fresh rooms. Great location with excellent transportation into the city. My boys enjoyed the Sunday Breakfast with waffles :-) Definetly a place where I also will check in again.

Probably the best Hampton by Hilton. It's also probably the most expensive to be fair. Nice hotel, great location, 15 minutes from the City center and 15 minutes from Schipol Airport.

Breakfast is included with your room, this hotel is easy to get to from the airport and only a brief train ride away from downtown. I would stay here again.

I just make check in! Im bit pissed about price! just pay 166 eur and right now I was looking just something. And there prise is 156. Parking place is extremely bad! to park in hotel 22eur. Sorry Hilton but when guests pay so much money for that normal double room. I think you have to arrange min cheaper then 22eur and would be nice for "free"! reception was really nice, girl explane everything, thabks to her for her work. But other I'm not proud of nothing! I would give just max 3 star. Sorry again, its not about that im angry that I just pay more then it cost today. Just becouse what I pay. I didnt get for it! thanks.

Whilst in Amsterdam for a business trip, I found this hotel to be clean and very comfortable. The staff were lovely, there's a decent bar downstairs and the breakfast selection is huge. Location wise, you are about a 20 minute drive outside of the city centre so this wouldn't be ideal for anyone looking to party. With that said the hotel is literally on the doorstep of a huge train station with trains that regularly take you into Amsterdam Centraal in about 10 minutes. I travelled in each evening with no trouble. For anyone on a business trip in or around the Zuidoost area, this hotel is great. My colleage stayed at the Fletcher Hotel a few weeks ago and said that the Hampton by Hilton was far superior in terms of quality and location.

This hotel made a good impression on me. The location is comfortable. It's close enough to the city centre. The staff were efficient and helpful. Also I liked the delicious breakfast. In the spite of the fact that my room was quite small it was very clean and cozy.

New hotel with a perfect location for anyone who is going to a concert like us. It is close to bars, restaurants, cinema and shopping centres. Staff was quite polite and friendly. Our room was spotless, with a big cosy bed and bathroom with big shower. Breakfast buffet had a great variety of delicious meals. We will use this hotel again during our next stay in this lovely city.

Brand new hotel well located near Amsterdam Arena and the subway. Spacious and clean rooms. Excellent breakfast. The staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Would recommend.

Except for a few small things, like for example, The towels not changed, everything was ok. The location is good, since it is not far to the centre, in the Hotel, but his rest. Shopping, there are also a lot around the corner. Garage also on site. Breakfast is also ok.

Not actually terrible — but very disapppointing. No proper bar, cafe or restaurant: however there is a minimal snack bar and you can get a very limited breakfast. Plus, bizarrely, there are some spirits available behind reception. Slow to check in. There is no room service, no mini bar and no escape — you are in the middle of a concrete jungle. The views from rooms at the back of the hotel (guess where mine is) are the worst I have ever had in 30 years. And I have stayed at a lot of hotels in a lot of odd places! See picture of ghastly multi-story car park I have posted. On the plus side, the room is clean and modern, the Wi-Fi is reasonably fast and free and. Actually no. Those are all the pluses I can think of. Avoid.
