Absolutely disgraceful customer service. Would not recommend anybody to book this hotel! I spent over £400 on a reservation for a weekend trip in October as a surprise for my partner's 30th birthday. I booked this in February before covid-19 happened. My flights were cancelled in September due to covid-19 so we had no way of traveling to Amsterdam, but the hotel refused to give us a refund OR give us a voucher worth what I had spent, OR even let us modify the dates! They had NO empathy whatsoever given that we are in the middle of a global pandemic and we physically had no way possible of getting to Amsterdam. All they care about is getting the money. I have seen a lot of other people who have had similar experiences with this hotel, it is absolutely ridiculous and they should be ashamed to treat their customers like that! I have not heard of any other hotels treating their customers like this, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE! DO NOT BOOK WITH HOTEL2STAY.

Stayed in an executive suite, very nice room and very good staff. Very good location being very close to sloterdijk station as well.

Our stay in this hotel was great and also the trip through Amsterdam was a full experience.

Really dissapointed of this hotel! Super super bad treatment and service. During the difficult times of Covid19 situation they did not show any good intention at all to customers. I was unable to travel to Amsterdam due to the travel ban and situation, so I was asking Hotel2Stay to at least give a compensation of hotel voucher because we really CANNOT travel to Amsterdam. We booked in Jan 2020 and suppose to travel this May 2020. They did not reply my email and reject to give any kind of good reason, saying that Amsterdam is not on lockdown, so they cannot allow the cancellation. I contacted more than 5x until they replied me super late and told me no offer could replace my booking, either voucher, reschedule or even small amount of refund (because the city is not on lockdown — crazy reason right? ) I do not recommend anyone to ever stay at a hotel where the customer service is bad and unpolite to their customer. Totally deserve 0 star! Building bad reputation for the hotel business and only cares about money.

Terrible experience — despite my country being put into lockdown, still an expectation to travel to the Netherlands “where it is considered safe”. This is irrespective of the fact that Booking. Com have put out explicit guidance indicating that they expect partners to waive cancellation fees. Do not recommend, no willingness to engage with any of its customers to offer an alternative solution. Some businesses will come out of this stronger, Hotel2Stay will not be one of those.

The hotel denied all responsibility and refused to help in any way. Honestly a terrible experience and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Hotel2Stay have refused to provide a refund with the COVID-19 situation. The staff have actually encouraged me to travel, even though I could be putting myself and others at risk. They have been unhelpful and uncompassionate I am in shock with their response and inflexibility — this is a serious issue, lives are at risk. Clearly this company cares more about money than the health of their guests.

So comfortable, easy access to amsterdam centraal, very easy going staff. Very clean rooms. Kitchenette is very useful. Would definitely stay again!

Surprised a 3 star as it’s worthy of 4 star. Beautiful boutique style hotel very modern. Lovely scent as you walk in and same smell throughout corridors Room spacious and spotless. Excellent location and transport network into centre. First time of visiting Amsterdam and what a truly joyful city — absolutely loved hotel and our stay ❤️perfect.

I highly recommend modern and well connected by traspo. I had a King Suite,
spacious room, the bathroom was so elagant, the sauna ♥️, fully equipped kitchen (ddnt expect it) sadly I ddnt hav had time to used it…

Amazing place to stay, very clean rooms and spacious. If you are not in the mood to go out, you can make coffee, tea, or even cook in the room. The location is very good, very close to bus stop and train station. Loved it and next time I am in Amsterdam I will go back to Hotel2Stay!

Perfect. Very clean, safe, conveniently located walking distance to the closest station. There's a grocery store, Spar close buy and on your day of checking out, they will store your luggage till your flight if scheduled later. Thanks for making my Amsterdam travels convenient and easy. Thumbs up.

Very clean! Spacious rooms. The roof top at sunset is awesome. Close to all public transportation (train, rail, and buses). Bike rentals on site. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely go back.

The hotel room was clean and had all the aminities in the room. It is quite close to tram and train station for a quick connection to the center. Unfortunately the hotel has air conditioning only in special rooms. The control on the wall is just for show. Make sure you check if your room has air conditioning before booking. The staff was nice enough to lend us a fan though so really appreciate that.

Very happy with our stay. Fairly basic accommodation which is all you need for a 3 day city break, excellent location only a 2 minute walk from trains, trams, metro and buses. Great way of delivering the breakfast you want too.

Excellent concept of self catering during holiday in Amsterdam. Has the potential to be excellent but lacks in the service department. The dirt was literally swept under the bed. There was no fill ups on dishwashing liquids. Room was serviced late in the afternoons and if you were found in your room, the cleaners said they would be back in 5 minutes to clean and they would never pitch. We would leave the room for an hour to come back to a room not cleaned.

Wonderful hotel… not large but enough room — clean and made up daily. Attentive ENGLISH speaking front desk staff every shift. Cute way of delivering your continental breakfast each day. Highly recommend Hotel2Stay!

I love this hotel. The first thing you notice as you walk in is the fabulous scent. It's remarkable. The second is the warm welcome by the staff. Friendly, chatty, and helpful. Then there's the clean modern fully equipped rooms. They have kitchens with a cooker, kettle, and fridge, this can make your visit considerably cheaper than you expected. The only negative thing I can say is they don't seem to have enough mugs to go around the rooms. Had to ask for one on my first visi…t, and then two on this stay. Reception was quick to provide some when I asked, so great service as I said. It also has a gym, sauna, laundry room, and computers to use in the communal lounge. It has a lovely rooftop space with fab views of the area. I love staying outside the city! Its nice to escape from the busy streets. This hotel has a great convienince store close by that's open 24/7. It's right next to all the transport you need, and also has great eateries close by. This is my second stay. I'm sure it won't be my last. Thanks for being so good thanks and thanks you rock!

Great, I advice you once 1000. Hotel very clean, very quiet. The tram, train, bus are at the foot of the hotel. Large terrace for smoking 7am to the sauna. Excellent coffee Machine, not far from the hotel there is a Spar very convenient for small extra runs. In short I have nothing to reproach. Price is more than affordable.

Very satisfied, nice structure, clean with sauna and gym, friendly and polite staff, close to any means of transport to reach any place you want! I would stay here again and highly recommend it!

Great hotel! The room is arranged like a small apartment: sleeping area, kitchen area with everything you need (kettle, coffee machine, microwave/oven, Cutlery and even a corkscrew and scissors) spacious closets, comfortable bathroom. There is a table at which we are comfortable, or to write something or to eat, TV. Also liked that the switch has as at the entrance and near the bed — comfortable) ) and of course in addition to the rooms there is a gym, infra red sauna, working area. A five minute walk of metro station Sloterdijk, from which you can reach both the city center and the airport. Very cool.

It's nice! The Contra is far from everything! Per day we spend a lot on mobility (€50 aprox.! ) The Hotel Muuuuuy quiet. Average room, bright and comfortable. No breakfast, if a coffee maker to make 1 or 2 coffee.

Strategic because near the railway station of Sloterdijk. From which to get to Amsterdam Central it takes only 5 minutes and in front you have the buses that reach every place this hotel was the pearl the rooms are soundproofed and scented every day the sheets are changed and the room clean the kitchenette is the Gem because as many know Amsterdam is dearest but doing shopping at the supermarket you can cook without problems. Pots pans are in the room and if you need more the girls at the front desk are ready to provide it other positive thing the vending machines with fries biscuits etc etc to a euro… cappuccino Coffee etc etc always a euro to the machine also good
So breakfast can be done with only two EU if you do not want to use the kettle in the room I will definitely love it!

Nice hotel, good located few minutes by train from Amsterdam central Station with train every couple of minutes, 10 minutes from airport. Other than that, not much to do around. Nice service, room maintenance not on the bright side, had to switch 3 rooms, one was stinky, one was in front of the rails on the same level, the third was OK. (not so clean with some malfunctions) Nice and helpful reception staff, equipped kitchenette, Spar in few minutes walk.

Location perfectly located in 5minutes by train from Amsterdam Centraal, bis Tram and train to 2minutes from the hotel.
The latter is equipped with an ideal terrace for the summer.
The rooms/studios are well thought out and modern.
Breakfast is outside the hotel in 2minutes on foot but the ride is quickly forgotten by a large selection of products.

Lousy cleaning service. The sheets were full of hair the day we arrived, and some towel significantly broken and after 4 days of stay did not change them once. The sheets were picked up and left on the floor so they would know we wanted their replacement and notified at reception. What did they do? They turned over the "make room" sign to "Stay away", and they didn't do anything about the room, so when we arrived in the evening-night and seeing it we claimed it and made it, so we had to wait while. In short, although the hotel in all other respects is OK, the no respect for the customer of the room service and those responsible for its review are the reason for the score.

Great hotel, friendly staff, also speak good German. By train you will be at the main train station in 7 minutes.

Large and clean rooms. Modern furniture. The kitchenette has even a dish washing machine. The hotel has its own parking and gym. It's next to the bus station. With bus 22 one gets directly to Central Station. Free Wi-Fi. Friendly staff.

I stayed there for two nights. Extremely good location, very nice kitchen, bath and everything was perfect. Staff was very friendly. Will surely recommend it. Perfect place to stay when visiting Amsterdam.

Good room despite being the most basic double on offer. Fantastic location given it's close proximity to a tram stop, metro, and train station all within a few minutes of the hotel. Return train ticket to the centre is just under €5. Unless you fancy a long walk I wouldn't suggest walking to the centre though, we did on the first day and it took us over an hour. The train takes about 7ish minutes I think to get to the centre. Though the tram doesn't go straight to the centre it does go to the south of the city and it's one change to the centre. Worth in my view getting at least one day pass for the trams and buses if exploring. See picture taken of prices, top one is fine unless going to outskirts and further. Let me know if you want more info, we have been twice and will likely return!

Is very inconveniently located far from the center. Of the advantages of having a refrigerator, microwave, large table. Good and fast Wi Fi. But because of the location to live is not particularly comfortable, next to nothing.

Very comfortable, new, well services and well connected to the station side of Sloteldijk. What I did not like is the cleaning service, and I think that was a thing of the waitress of my hallway, because some friends were in another and I cleaned it another way: I spilled coffee on the countertop of the kitchen and I don't have been removed, it is that I do not friegues the cup (as I did) … But to remove the fence of coffee… Very strong.

Nice location! Only thing is I found a chair missing a leg and I almost fell off… The staff is friendly but they seem to know the situation (but they do not know the risk?! )

Without any doubt I’ll be back here again … few stops away from Amsterdam Centraal. Plenty of transport connections to city centre & airport. Size of my room was very roomy. Balcony view was nice in the morning. Highly recommended place to stay when exploring Amsterdam.

Good and practical hotel. It has a kitchen in the rooms, coffee machine and kettle. It is clean and practical, without luxuries, but with good design. It has No cafeteria but is attached to a transport interchange with shops and cafes that takes you downtown in less than 10 minutes.

Modern, impecibly clean, well located hotel 1 train stop from Amsterdam Center and 2 stops from the airport. The rooms had a kitchenette and were a good size. We bought a 3 day pass for public transport that included train, tram and bus for €26pp. I would highly recommend this Hotel.

Comfortable, clean, spacious, with rich and varied breakfast included and attached to a train and bus station that allows you to get to the centre of Amsterdam quickly and avoid the inconvenience of the accommodation in the city centre. It's worth it.

Stayed 2 nights in September 2017. Hotel is in an excellent location; quiet but exceptionally close to a major transit center. The hotel room was very clean and comfortable. All of the furniture and appliances were virtually new. The room had a kitchen with sink, stovetop, kettle, coffee maker, fridge and convection oven. This made it extremely useful as restaurants in Amsterdam are quite pricey. All of the towels and sheets were nice and clean. Hotel staff were super friendly and there is on site laundry facilities. Overall an awesome hotel.

Nice and comfortable Hotel. I love threr is kitchenette in the hotel, this is very convenient for trouists because we can cook some foods when we wanted. Also, the Hotel is quite close to train/Bus/Tram station, very convenient and important for travellers. By the way, the hotel receptions are good and nice to provide any help if you needed.

Rattling in the bathroom extractor fan, asked them on the first day to fix that and provide us with a second mug. Neither things were dealt with. I didn't chase them up, because it isn't the responsibility of the guest to do the manager's job. Nice place though, well connected. I'd recommend it if you're looking for a slightly above average place to stay.

Perfect location for this beautiful village. The owner speaks Chinese and English and Dutch… maybe more :) The place is very clean, restrooms and showers… and on top of all, the breakfast is great!

— Strategic location, two minutes walk from station amsterdam Sloterdijk (train, metro, tram and bus). For the center you can take the train, more expensive but faster, or if you have the card of the public transport you can get on the tram 12 which takes you to the Museumplein or the bus 22 to Amsterdam Centraal. From and to Schiphol airport are a 10-minute train ride, with a race every 5 to 10 minutes. — The room/studio is really comfortable, the kitchen is a plus if you want to be autonomous to prepare a meal. Very comfortable bed, TV with international channels (you can also see the three rai channels). Wi-Fi fast, about 20 Mb in upload and download. — Staff very friendly and fast check-in/check-out. If you want to save even more time, the hotel sends you an email a few days prior to your arrival to make check-in online. — The area very quiet and peaceful, at the same time secure. AGAINST
— Small annoyance given by the ventilation system of the room, that you can not control, and is not silent. If someone suffers from light sleep could be annoying. Moreover, intermittently you could hear a noise a little loud coming from the bathroom ceiling, probably some component of the intake system. — Do not change bed sheets everyday (but if you read is well-specified in the guide to the hotel in the room). If you leave the towels on the ground instead are replaced regularly.

I loved the hotel three of us shared the room we had plenty of space I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends and would stay here again.

I just stay at Hotel2Stay for a total of 6 nights. We chose this hotel as a stay so long as the prices were preposterous, so we found this hotel, with a reasonable price and a location that is not too uncomfortable from the centre: it is located exactly opposite the railway station amsterdam Sloterdijk, from which they pass with the greatest frequency of trains to Amsterdam Centraal (1 stop, 5 minutes), Schiphol airport (2 stops, 10 minutes), but also for Rotterdam and many other destinations. In this station you will also find tram, bus and metro. The hotel is modern, clean, the staff young and kind. The only drawback would be the breakfast, which cost € 15 per day, a price perhaps too high for how much we spend usually the italians for breakfast. We however we solved by making breakfast in the room, since they are equipped with kitchenette.

This is a nice extended stay hotel not too far from Central Amsterdam. You can get there from the central area via train or streetcar. Unfortunately, we were only there for 1 night. We should have stayed longer as our room was big and very nice.

Lovely staff, there is a secure room to store your luggage before check in and after check out. It's fantastic having the little kitchen so you don't have to eat out, all the basic utensils are provided. The rooms have huge windows, great for admitting the view!

Clean, modern, and affordable. Friendly staff and fantastic amenities. Right next to a major transportation hub so getting into the center city is a breeze. I enjoyed riding the 22 bus and feeling like a local. You could book an overpriced, shabby, cramped hotel in the city center or you could come out here and relax in comfort. I'll take the latter.

Love this hotel, Its easy with public transportation to and from the centre of amsterdam. The rooms are big, Staff is friendly. Missed hanging space in the closet and there is a little stairs to the reception so you have to carry your bag up the stairs. I loved the gym! Lovely interior!

Beautiful Hotel, modern decor, room size ok and friendly Service. Good access to the city centre. Breakfast is in the neighboring Hotel, but the quality is good, only the coffee, unfortunately, is bad. Would still book again :)

We really like the location. There are busses trams and trains right next to the hotel. Great kitchen in the room and there is store close. The only problem we had is that the clean was not very clean.

The cosy hotel. Within walking distance interchange circuit Slotredijk. Skees many buses and trains going in different angles as Amsterdam and Holland in General. So there is metro station and tram stop. The hotel is very clean and bright. Also good insulation, because of passing trains quite neslyshno.

The hotel is a little far from the center, which is not bad, the advantage is that from the station of Sloterdijk you can reach anywhere, as there is, train, trucks, the subway and the tram.

Great, great location although it may seem far from the city. Since it is located at the Sloterdijk train/Metro station, it can reach all of Amsterdam comfortably by means. Hotel always clean, service friendly and helpful. The following areas I loved for my entire stay, gym, sauna and terrace.

The room was very clean and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast is served in the hotel opposite, nice selection, coffee, tea and juices are included and scrambled eggs or fried egg are freshly prepared on request! All in all very satisfied.

Clean, the sauna (not in room), gym, kitchen right in the room, at the station, can go in any direction (12 tram with a transfer at 16 and you're in the center 15-20min) to the airport by train 10 min.

Rooms well furnished: TV, refrigerator, cooker plate, microwave, tea maker and coffee maker available. Price range: Super. Nice staff. 20 minutes to the city.

Is very convenient. Our room was appealing and the bed really good. Only the breakfast can be improved a bit more.
