Nice but sober hotel for one night in Amsterdam.

Small but clean rooms, near to museums, near to public transportation. The breakfast was good until we saw that receptionist prepared the breakfast with her hands without wearing gloves. The staff was very polite and helpful.

So far (2 nights in), the staff have been friendly and helpful. The room clean and was cleaned today. It's in an accessible location, and not too far a walk from the metro. The room is dated and really needs a refurbishment, but we knew that when we booked it. Disappointed there was no tea/coffee making facilities in our room. But, on the plus side, I had a lovely warm shower this morning with good water pressure so that is great.

It is normal. Although the coffee machine in the room was dirty and we cannot use. You do not have a fridge.

Acceptable place, good location close to Van Gogh museums etc. Cramped spaces typical of Amsterdam but cleanliness not really excellent. Very friendly and open 24h.

This is a budget hotel, so don't come expecting luxury. The hotel is close to tourist activities such as the key museums in Amsterdam. However, it is in a quiet neighborhood. The room was small like a normal European budget hotel. The hallways smelled of soap. Everything was clean, but a bit worn. The amenities on the room were slight. Towels and some liquid soap/shampoo. There is a small bar in the lobby that has beer, wine, and coffee, but no liquor. The hotel was quiet during the day and at night. The need was comfortable. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. They spoke several languages. The breakfast was an extra charge. The breakfast room has a nice ambiance. The breakfast itself was fine, but basic. The coffee was fine.

A very tiny room, yet completely satisfactory in every way. No wasted space. Staff was more than helpful — one of the employees toasted me a cheese sandwich for dinner one night when I had no energy left to go out to eat. Another helped me to order a pizza for delivery on my second day. The place is exactly as advertised — proximity to transit is a definite plus. I would gladly stay there again.

Very good attention, excellent price-quality relation. The environment very warm and comfortable. Plus, you're not far from the centre and the tramp 17 simplifies the transport.

Very small room with old curtains and shabby, mattresses (2) very uncomfortable…
The maid does not know how to make a bed properly, she does not pull the sheet from underneath to remove the creases but simply covers the bed. No cleaning, it changes the towels and closes the room, 2 minutes and a half of work.
The reception staff is nice and professional and the hotel is very well located.
Change the maid or control her work.

That doesn't. The bed is not properly sourced, the shower is almost falling apart. The floor is dirty.
Just croissants.

Clean room, friendly staff. Material a bit run down but surprised to find a GPS with headphones for to walk to town with comments on monuments, places, places.
The breakfast was not that great. Less than 7 min bike Starbucks will be more profitable.
The location of the hotel is its best asset. Bike, less than 10 minutes from everything.

Was in the hotel at the end of may-beginning of June 2012. Excellent quiet location in a residential area of Amsterdam. Lucky with the weather — there was even a hot: +25. That is not a very good impact on the comfort stay in a single room in the absence of air conditioning. Later found out air conditioning in Amsterdam — are rare. But the temperature more than inconvenience paid off. Hosts — Russian couple. So the problems with communication. Amsterdam's main attractions can be reached by tram, bus 10-15 minutes, so much so that traffic congestion in the city is not as such. After crazy Moscow is simply paradise. The truth is, getting a little nuisance bikers. They are like a swarm of bees is everywhere, just zazevalsâ and please everyone under the wheels, but then quickly get used to. In General, and the hotel generally recommend. But next time, if I travel in Amsterdam, choose another hotel with air conditioned rooms.

Stayed for a night in August 2011. Enjoyed the stay immensely. Clean, comfortable, basic rooms. Convenient location. Really helpful staff, that put time and effort into provided me with local information about the city. It all made me feel very welcome. Great breakfast included. Found it to be a terrific value. Will gladly stay there again, if the opportunity arises.

30 min walk to the centrum.

We stayed in a room with three beds. It should be noted that each of the beds was very narrow, probably child. All the nights afraid to fall in a rollover (sorry for the details). The room is spacious. Although one of the beds 1/3 were partitioned off by the entrance to the toilet. The interior is made as cheap (head of the bed — Board on the wall, etc). The hotel is on a quiet street, really a minute's walk to the stop of public transport. But the walk to the center is not 20 minutes to the Central square quick pace in 35 minutes, to the railway station — 45, on the bus go tram ride 20 minutes. The ticket costs 2 Euro. I. E. We can say that the hotel is far away, that is not convenient for exploring the city.
