Like a journey through time! Very nice, great breakfast, great ferry connection to the city center. Happy to return!

We really appreciated the place and the atmosphere (wooden cabins and dining rooms, jazz music, panoramic view). It's romantic and cosy! Be ready for a little bit of noise and movement though, but let's say that's part of the charms of a boat.

Excellent place to stay totally authentic and beautifully restored to the finest detail.

What an incredible experience! The boat was beautiful, beds were comfy, and the service was top notch. Richard and Anthony were amazing hosts and we will definitely be staying on the Kapitein Anna anytime we’re in Amsterdam!

Beautiful hotel boat, you get the feeling of sitting next to Hercule Poirot in death on the Nile.

We was greeted by Anthony on arrival and have never had such a warm friendly welcome because it was a valentine/birthday break Anthony upgraded our room gave us a bottle of wine and a shot each. Breakfast was so fresh and a nice variety of fresh meats fruit and breads and cheese, and also a choice of bacon and eggs howevet you want them cooked. The coffee machine is free to use 24hrs so really there is nothing you could want. I would fully recommend if your looking for a novel place to stay with a warm friendly greeting and only a ferry ride into amsterdam can only score this 10/10 we will definately be returning. Thank you Anthony for making our stay amazing xxx.

Lovely Boatel comfy clean rooms decent location.

Very friendly staff. Breakfast no frills but quite normal. Clean. Heat. Cabins small but to sleep. Probably makes no sense to overpay if morning to evening You are in good. Very often there is a free ferry to Central station. Just watch that center. By taxi 70 euros. But we took a ride on a Tesla for fun. The machine of the future. And so it turns out the airport is 10 euros for two. Price quality captain Anna the perfect offer. Only if You have problems with the quality coy on the water think. In Windows periodically hit the waves. We were still after a day of festivities I was knocked out at times. I'd go back there. Good luck and pleasant journeys. Dr.

Very nice hotel boat, friendly staff, super fast but thorough Roomkeeping. Clean, comfortable rooms, central location (15 min by ferry to Amsterdam Centraal). It's really an experience to sleep on a boat. The expected strong swings remained. The movements of the ship on the water are noticeable, but do not disturb.

Lovely boat and comfortable rooms. Everything was spick and span all the time! The night view is amazing and the swing of the boat a completely new and pleasent experience. The only drawback is that the restaurant is closed as well as the bar in the upper deck.

Kapitein Anna ruined our anniversary. My husband and I got married on the boat 9 years ago (when it was called the Kapitein Kok), and as a surprise I booked a night on the KA to celebrate. Despite KA confirming (twice) that we had booked room 10 (the largest room with two single beds close to each other), when we arrived only room 2 was available: this was small and had two beds perpendicular to each other. Not exactly the romantic getaway we were hoping for. The owner did not even apologise: he said "That is a problem". I left the boat in tears and we spent our romantic night at home.

Amazing boat. Very clean and hosts friendly and accommodating. Loved the gentle sway of the boat and hearing the lapping of the waves. Peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend! Free ferry boat across the river to the train station was a bonus too :) xx.

Very nice old ship and super nice hosting. Richard is very nice and helpful. Great breakfast we would come back anytime. Also the location is super outside and quiet but just around the corner is the ferry that runs every 15 minutes into town. Top.

Love the setting of the boat. Nice and quite It easy to reach center of Amsterdam via a free ferry. Crew on boat is very nice and drinks cheap. Room was OK. Air con did not work and the toilet did not flush properly. Otherwise can reccomend to stay there.

A very charming botel that's classy and historical. The staff was both friendly and professional. A nice breakfast was served every morning and the boat itself was spotless and well kept. No complaints, would highly recommend!

This place is really great — classy ship, nice rooms, easy to get to from Amsterdam Centraal, good breakfast, always helpful staff. Can't think of any negative feedback here, strongly recommend!

Very friendly and Helpful Team! Great ambiance, delicious Breakfast and Top location. Only a few minutes by ferry, which leaves from right next door, in the city centre. The rooms are well-equipped for a ship really pleasant. Good shower and toilet in the room and comfortable beds. There are Parking facilities in the vicinity.

Optimal Hotel for a long weekend. Small, cozy and cute! A great atmosphere and nice staff what is on individual wishes received. The rooms are clean and comfortable. A closet is missing, you need for a weekend but not. Heating, air-conditioning and shower are very good. Breakfast is good and abundant. Location of the ship is perfect. Happy again!
