Stayed at this hotel in August 2018. Completely dissatisfied. The room was tinier than on the pictures. The window with the view on a wall opened only a little bit, so we were suffocating in the room the whole time. Air conditioning didn’t work. Couldn’t use the ventilator because it was disgustingly dusty. The room was overall dirty. There were someone’s dirty socks under the bed. No handsope and other supplies — only a bit of shower gel. The Wi-Fi didn’t work for a day when we arrived. The only thing we enjoyed about Armada hotel is the location.

I gave the hotel three stars because the receptionist was friendly and because the hotel has a perfect location, but the rest was just horrible. There was no soap for hands in the rooms, those same room were supposely clean but were disgusting, there was dust on the small ventilator, on top of the bed and a bit everywhere else. We found socks under the bed. There was no fridge. We coudn' t breath in the room, it was very warm and we could barely open the windows and there was no airco (There is a little panel when you enter the room which makes you think that there is airco but after speaking with receptionist that this thing was there just for the show). The view from our room was an wall full of pigeon faeces and dying pigeons (felt kind of lucky my girlfriend coudn' t open the windows), but I guess we were just unlucky there. Not a big problem but the cleaning lady only speak Dutch. This hotel has the potential to be one the best in Amsterdam due to its very good location.

Fine hotel, great stuff! There is no AC and it is very hot in the room during the summer, and in most of the rooms you can't open the window wide. Also at some rooms you can hear everything from outside and it is disturbing (for example the canal view rooms, so I wouldn't recommend on these rooms at all). The location is perfect and the stuff are very very nice and helpful. So I would recommend on this hotel, but not during the summer.

Ottima struttura posizionata a metà delle cerchie di Amsterdam, 20 minuti a piedi dal Van Gogh Museum, 20 minuti dalla stazione. Stanze pulite e letto comodo. Bagno veramente piccino. Staff cortese e disponibile. Nel complesso una buona struttura.

This hotel is pretty terrible. There is no AC for the hot summer, which they don't tell you about! They provide you with a cheap fan, and the rooms are like prison cells (Size/Width). The only positive is the location-

Amazing service and good value rooms.

Very nice staff, good Wi-Fi and very good location. Problem is that the hotel is not really clean and many parts of interior are in bad shape. I'd rather have door on shower cabin than a huge tv.

The worst hotel ever been. In booking is a 3 star. Fake. Maximum is a 2 — stars. Very very small room — 5m2 No restaurant or buffet.

It's in a good location, but the internet in the room doesn't work properly.

I stayed here in 2009 and it was so nice The view is great! I don’t remember much to be honest, but enough to recommend it.

Really nice and helpful staff. Really nice and clean room. It is small but that is expected with the area. You have free Wi-Fi, control over the heating in your room, plenty of plug sockets (EU) and we also had one UK plug. After you've checked out, they will hold on to your bags for up to 24 hours if you ask, if you have a later flight. Kettle, hairdryer, TV in your room. Location wise, it's excellent. Everything is within an easy walking distance. The vending machine in the lobby is similar priced to local shops with a choice of water, fizzy drinks and Heineken. Chocolate and crisps, it's good for middle of the night munchies and dry mouth.

Nice little hotel. Just out of town and a 15 minute walk. Tram available out side… Nice little cafe next door. Great for breakfast.

Turned down the bedding to sleep… they didn't change the sheets… it was disgusting…

Rooms were very small, bathroom was recently done up to be a wet room but the floor wasnt angled correctly so the entire floor got soaked when anyone had a shower. Some rooms had no signal for Wi-Fi. Took €250 from our bank account before we got there, we tried to pay the balance on arrival for our stay but were told we had to pay the full amount and we'd get back the other €250 in 2 weeks! So that was €250 less spending money for us, wouldnt recommend.

Clean, renewed hotel straight in the middle of the city. Friendly staff. I definitely recommend this!

The location is fantastic: it's about a three minute walk from Rembrandt Plein. The room, however, was awful. Steamy, dark, and I was fortunate enough to step in personal lubricant on the floor. So cleanliness is questionable at best.

Great location. Small rooms but comfortable, clean. Not everything worked perfectly in the room but you can adapt.

Good location but the room keys suck! Couldn't get into my room everytime I tried, very annoying!

Hotel reception was kind and helpful, rooms were small but manageable and common for the area. Really great location, 2 minute walk from Rembrandt with great places for food and drink close by. The major issue we had was the thermostat was non responsive and the windows only open slightly so air flow very poor on a very hot day.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Great location and easy access to all the must see locations. Staff could have been friendlier and more helpful with tourist info but not bad overall!

Very very budget hotel within close proximity of central. So much fun and left with good memories. will use again.

Warning* This hotel double-charged my credit card, and refused to refund even after contacting the hotel manager. I'd never trust this hotel with my credit card information and this should be a fair warning to anyone considering to stay at this hotel.
