Great hotel for a quick stay over. The staff was super friendly. The bar staff was very helpful in explaining the different beers. The breakfast area was nice and there was a good selection for breakfast. The hotel location of the was great for us, as there were different pubs and restaurants all around us. The train station is also walking distance from the hotel. There is also a pharmacy close by the hotel.

This is a solid 4* hotel right in the centre of Tilburg, and about 10 minutes’ walk from the station. I’ve visited five times, and noticed that the hotel has improved greatly since my last visit in 2013. All rooms now have air con, which was much appreciated as it was 30 degrees. Breakfast was excellent and even includes sparkling wine, and is served until 12pm at weekends. Rooms were very clean and comfortable with a huge comfortable bed. The sauna and pool are chargeable if not in a Privilege room so didn’t use these. I checked in early and they tried to upsell a Privilege room, but my friends checked in a couple of hours later and got an upgrade for free, as did I a few years ago. Those rooms are nice but as all rooms now have air con and have been refurbished the increased cost doesn’t seem worth it.

Beware of the pool! I thought I’ll go for a swim in the city sauna area. Pretty quiet and no one about. I did a few laps in the pool when a naked elderly lady jumped in. I thought ok nothing to worry about, it’s europe… she than spoke Dutch saying something to but I didn’t understand what she was saying she shouted one of the staff to translate. They came and told me that the whole pool area is naked only. Except on Wednesdays? So I had to take my swimming shorts of or leave. I left, little disappointed but guess That’s there way. Would definitely be a 4+ start rating as the guest rooms are really nice and staff is friendly but this incident knocks it down to a 3 star for me.

Right in the centre of Tilburg (with free parking included) and a few km from the abbey of La Trappe. Great room, bathroom with big shower and service. Very rich and varied breakfast. Recommended.

The small cakes next to the coffee were amazing.

Very high quality hotel with very comfortable rooms, exceptional service and a top class restaurant. Free access to local gym for privileged customers and they have deal with local taxi.

The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The hotel is close to many points of interest and has a restaurant on its own. The receptionists are always kind and helpful.

Too bad that it is necessary to be nudist to enjoy the services (sauna, swimming pool, bubble baths etc. ) … otherwise perfect service, excellent breakfast. The staff is not very multilingual. Very convenient the parking tower adjoining (you have to climb to the 9th floor) with a preferential rate for guests of the hotel.

Excellent service. We had a little problem with our room on arrival and were offered a privilege room for free for the inconvenience caused. Clean facilities. Very nice room, clean and with a helpful bed. If we visit Efteling again, we will return to this hotel as it has a pack with two nights and entrance. Thanks for everything.

I certainly cannot speak of rooms or service, as I only know the hall and a very well-conditioned meeting room.

Very good hotel. In the heart of Tilburg. Very friendly staff. Near the train station 6 minutes walk. Nearby 013 popodium stage, next to the shops. Very good breakfast, but not for 18.5 per person. That is why we have 4 and not 5 stars.

Good location in the city center. Only downside: I was very surprised not to find hot milk and powdered chocolate for breakfast! Maybe in the Netherlands you don't drink it but for a 4 star I'm surprised. Working in a Novotel in France, breakfast is still thought for the foreign clientele.
But in global we are very satisfied.

We had a good time at the hotel. Only snag, we did not know that the sauna was only naturist, otherwise we would not have booked 2 entrances. We barely got back into the place in a swimsuit that we were told to remove or leave the premises. If we had known in advance we would have avoided this useless expense since we are modest.
Otherwise the lunch was good and the meal to the perfect taste.

Pleasant stay, very welcome tea and coffee set both in the room and in the lobby. TV channels also Italian.

The hotel is situated right in the middle of the city center of Tilburg which is a great location with everything nearby. The noice cancelling windows work like a charm and there is hardly any noise during the night which makes this a great hotel. The room was quite new and modern with a great bed and shower. Overall we were quite satisfied with our stay. The only remark is about the breakfast which was a bit messy and the tables were not very clean but everything was quite fresh and the quality of the food was good.

We have stayed at this hotel before the renovation which has certainly lifted its image but that is where it stops. The rooms remain small but then that is Europe. We were checked in by a trainee who wasn't very professional or even pleasant. We were told our rooms will be ready at 2.00 pm which was another 3 hour wait after a 24 hour flight from Australia! So at 2.00 pm we were told that they will start cleaning the rooms! Luckily the manager intervened and rectified the situation, although, she should have been aware of the problem as she was standing next to the trainee at the time. The rooms were not the cleanest which surprised me for Holland. Outside seating area of the restaurant was dirty and unappealing. All in all probably okay for a short businees trip but otherwise disappointing.

The experience was positive. Despite an overcrowded hotel the management was kind and professional and offered compensation for the lateness in my room delivery. The room was clean and well furbished, the breakfast just excellent.

This was a nice hotel in the middle of the center. Room was clean and well maintained. Shopping, restaurants and cafes are all walking distance. The main train station is about 10 minutes by walk. We took the hotel with the Efteling amusement park, which was great value. I would recommend this hotel and stay here again.

Clean, reliable, and very well located. Comfortable bed and good Wi-Fi for a business traveller. Be aware rooms may not have irons.

Great Hotel in the middle of the city. Modern, friendly staff. I was in the theatre of Tilburg at a concert. It was great! The downtown is typical Dutch. At the time of the booking price with the standard was that of the Top.

Unfortunately, it was due to many closed roads, very difficult for us to find that the Hotel, although the Hotel has sent a map. Reference was also made to the held folk festival and the possible and the actual noise level. Good Customer Service. Thank you. The Hotel itself is really nice and in the middle of the City. Who does not want to eat in the Hotel, can find many opportunities in the very near vicinity. The equipment of the room is really well done. The Breakfast leaves nothing to be desired — large shower in the bathroom. The friendly and positive staff at the reception and at Breakfast provided a nice stay. Next to us, a lot of Fans/visitors of the football championship of the ladies use the Hotel.

We have three nights in the Hotel spent to do from there, our work at Hornbach, Tilburg, Breda, and Best.

After a few minor difficulties at the beginning, everything was perfect!

Since I made the booking until the check out day were very gentile to me and my family. The room impeccable, and the people who managed always current and gentiles. What made a 10 on my visit was the breakfast, it has everything that you want, the omelet very rich, and the chef of the breakfast very gentle at all times. The waitresses very gentiles in a special mona short hair that I can't remember his name. The food quality and the friendliness of the staff make that on my next visit to be a stay secured in your hotel. The access to the parking is very comfortable, the only thing not used was the swimming pool but due to lack of time. Thank you to all your staff for your kindness.

Hotel booked for only one night because of concert, but we had a very good stay. The room was very nice We had lunch at the hotel, the sandwiches were extra. Nice view on the square, great location. Unfortunately we didn't know how to test the pool. Maybe next time! Small downside, there was only one plug on my side of the bed instead of the USB socket.

We stayed here for just one night whilst attending a concert at the nearby 013 music venue. Very impressed with the hotel. Room wasn't huge, but the bed was comfortable; and the shower room had excellent fittings and a powerful shower. Fabulous sauna, swimming pool and steam room area, too — well worth paying extra for. Didn't have breakfast, so can't comment on food. Staff were excellent. One small issue — when we returned to our room after the concert, our key wouldn't work. It took the poor chap on Reception 45 minutes to fix the door so we could get in our room. No-one's fault, but it was a bit annoying when you really just wanted to crash out on the bed! But overall, a very nice hotel.

Stay considerably comfortable both for the structure and for the comfort of the location. Cozy rooms, modern functional ours with views over the city square really remarkable. Clean and convention parking at very reasonable prices given the price standards on public parking.

Booked a 2 night stay in a privilege room. Checked in on-line so no delay when I arrived, check in staff were friendly and informative. The room was large, spotlessly clean and overlooked the back of the hotel so it was not too noisy, air conditioning worked perfectly (and was needed as temp exceeded 36'C! ) Good king size bed so comfy! Well stocked mini-bar some items free as a privilege room perk, plenty of cupboard space for clothes. Tea/coffee making facilities. Shower/bathroom was good size and had an invigorating rain shower which was very welcome!. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of staff on hand who were all very friendly and welcoming. Hotel is in City Centre, 10 mins walk from rail station, but plenty of bus services stop just by hotel. Great range of shops, cafe's. Sauna next door is promoted by hotel. Plenty of nightclubs very close by. Overall a very nice experience for my first stay at this hotel!

Spacious and clean apartment, nice overall. Only flaw is the soundproofing, for nothing good. In the morning you could hear all the noises.
Good breakfast. You can choose between normal breakfast (eat really everything) and a "small" breakfast where you can choose 5 Foods of your choice for only 6, 5.

The hotel is extremely well located, on the central square of Tilburg, the rooms are quiet and clean, the staff very nice. Only downside, the hotel has only a paid parking at €10 a night in addition to the room and it is almost impossible to park elsewhere.

Class of sound-insulated rooms with good facilities… staff very relaxed and helpful… bathroom in good condition. Would always book again.

It is a very good site for tourists who want to see the cities of Holland, given that the rooms are very comfortable, cozy, with everything that a guest may need. The service on my stay has been very good and is very quiet. Despite the fact that it is in an area in which at night there is movement through the streets (there is no party or local with the loud music, but yes there is an environment of people coming out to enjoy a drink in the centre of the city), barely hear anything from the rooms, because the windows are quality. It is in the center of the city of Tilburg and there are very good views. The only "paste" (to call it somehow), is that you have to be careful with the mini bar, because that can grow with the invoice of the stay, but in general, it is very well price the site.

Excellent, very good service, booked at a very good price a long time ago and far exceeds the expectations. Very very very satisfied with the room, very clean, very well decorated, in the center, no noise, bathroom spacious and clean, with a bathtub. The service of reception and the cleaning is wonderful. All is perfect, the reception service, the room, the bathroom… The hotel is even better than what I initially thought.

Well located but not very comfortable.

This hotel, although of the standard Mercure offers nice room very inviting. Unlike a lot of mercury, they have charm.
Breakfast is also very copious and good bill.

Read all the small details. My mom rented a room on this hotel, and when she cancelled it a month before her stay, she had to play the full amount anyways! Really bad behaviour. Cannot recommend this to anyone!

The one thing that I need to make going to school and communicate with my family back home is sorely lacking in this place is terrible. I'm referring to the internet. The staff is friendly and the food is excellent, but I have a need for better internet. This isn't a want, it's a need. Otherwise this would have been a 4+ star review.

This hotel is just what I've expected from a 4 star rated hotel. The room is large enough, bathroom is ok, beds are ok. There's TV and internet on the room. Standard stuff. The room was a littlebit dusty, and the hotel is noisy from the inside. People are talking loud on the corridor, banging with doors, putting their tellies loud, also late in the evening.
