Surprisingly nice place. The rooms are beautiful, efficient and finished with attention to detail and comfort. Very friendly hosts. Within walking distance of the Thermenbad. Highly recommended and definitely a stay to come back to! Will recommend it to people around me.

I stayed here last week for 3 nights to visit the local spa (Thermen Bad-Nieuweschans). It's a fantastic alternative to the spa hotel. Easy access using the key box so flexible arrival times.
The place is new, fresh, modern and at the same cosy and very clean. Standard Dutch breakfast can be provided at €10 pppn.
There is a communal kitchen that guest are free to use any time of the day with a dedicated space in the fridge for each of the 5 rooms: I found this a real plus, especially with the supermarket just next door: eating out all the time is expensive. There's a dishwasher, hob, combi oven and all the utensils and crockery etc.
There's a coffee machine in the breakfast area with free coffee for all guests any time of the day.
I stayed in room 5 upstairs: a cosy single room, again very clean. All rooms have private bathrooms. The single bed was very comfortable. It's quiet enough: indoor noise from people downstairs etc does travel a bit, but traffic outside did not bother me at all.
I met one of the hosts a couple of times, and communicated with the other via sms: they made me feel very welcome, and they provide a great atmosphere.
I will definitely be back some time, either to enjoy the spa again, or to explore the local area as I think the region has a lot to offer.
