I had a lovely experience staying at this hotel, when traveling to Groningen for a conference (I stayed for four nights). The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and there was always someone available when I had questions. I was especially happy with the recommendation to book a dinner at Blumé, which turned out to be a particularly nice restaurant.
The room was clean and cosy, which was important to me when I needed to work or just unwind, and the bed comfortable. The only negative thing was that, on occasions, you overheard the neighboring rooms and people in the corridor, but this was a limited problem, since the hotel didn't seem to attract a loud crowd. In general the vibe was very calm and comfortable.
Excellent breakfast with plenty of allergy friendly options.
All in all, I would definitely go back with friends or family, and I do recommend it to others contemplating staying there!
Very cool hotel. Warm and friendly staff ie all of them. Rooms are small and cozy. It grows on you. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. Very centrally located and close to downtown Groningen, Univeristy and shopping area. Great restaurants at stone’s throw away. Highly recommend. THANK YOU for a very memorable visit.

Wow. Excellent hotel. Underrated. The shower is so good it deserves a 5* review already. Really high pressure and hot water. Also the shower is roomy. Large bottles of shower gel, shampoo, hand wash and body lotion. I like the sink too. Now to the bed — it’s very comfortable. Mattress topper is good and the pillow is very comfortable. Room temperature was good and had underfloor heating. Breakfast was great, was small scale but had everything I wanted. Muesli, croissant, fruit and eggs (3 kinds). Location was good in the old city centre. 15 mins walk from the station.
Please refill the tissue box there was one tissue left in my box. The room is VERY DARK I really do not like dark hotels. Please install brighter lighting, lamps and fixtures. It’s not chic or trendy to have a dark af room. TV doesn’t work half the time (no signal).
