Wow wow wow! This stay was the highlight of our trip! Comfortable beds, beautiful views, spacious bathrooms, wonderful hosts (that helped with a few little things to make our trip easier, ) CHARMING town, and the cherry on top?! The incredible breakfast & coffees made by Janneka! This adorable house and the environment here was so warm and friendly. We had room to stretch out, play cards, relax, and rest. Thank you for making our trip so special by allowing us to stay at your b&b! We didn’t have a plan to visit this city, only came because this bed and breakfast looked so special — we absolutely will recommend Turfkade9 to anyone and everyone coming to Friesland!

A beautiful B&B with a pleasant atmosphere. We stayed in 'the wood attic' on the 2nd floor and at the front of the building with a nice view of the canal. It is neat, clean and nicely decorated with beautiful things. You can see the love that owner Tjarda has put into it and still does! She ensures that you lack nothing. The breakfast is diverse, healthy and more than sufficient with fresh products with something for everyone. The location is an excellent base for exploring the region and the center of Franeker is almost in your backyard. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful experience in Franeker, thanks to the warm welcome from Tjarda upon my arrival. The rooms were spotless and pleasantly cool. Breakfast was delicious and expertly prepared by Tjarda. The location is excellent as well. I highly recommend this place!
