A super B&B, cozy and clean. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast.

We stayed here whilst in Holland for the World Superbikes, the TT Assen Circuit is just 20 minutes away by car. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful and the place itself is absolutely fantastic. Anton and Ingrid are lovely people and very accommodating. The breakfasts quite large and were what we would consider as 'Continental' but also quite Dutch as far as some items were concerned. They were also fantastic. There are a few small towns not too far away (5-10 mins by car) but you might find that most foody places were closing by 9 or 10pm at the latest. We had a look for some takeaway delivery but they were mostly pizza places as far as we could see. Having said that, the breakfasts were big enough to last all day anyway. There are a number of Supermarkets about 10-15 mins away, the likes of Aldi and Jumbo if you want any snacks etc.
Absolutely recommend Selatuinen and would certainly not hesitate to stay there again if/when we go back to Assen.

A wonderful place to rest. Great owners. Pure. Full equipment. Delicious breakfasts. Varied. Fresh products. I really recommend it with all my heart. I will definitely come back.

We have just returned from a few days at the pavilion with friends.
What a wonderful atmosphere it had, and you are in the middle of nature. We were spoiled with delicious breakfasts. Lots of goodies! We also ordered dinner for the evenings. How luxurious and delicious. Now it's not the first time we've been here, and it was a pleasure again.
The surroundings are beautiful. It is great for walking and cycling. Thank you for the hospitality.

This is the ideal B&B for us! Spacious accommodation, fully equipped. Very helpful host and hostess. There is a 2p Garden Room (can be booked separately per night), and an attractive pavilion at the back of the large garden with a beautiful living area and 2 bedrooms, sleeping 5 in total (Forest Room and Tree Room). From 2021 you can only book the pavilion for at least 3 overnight stays and you cannot book a separate room, but a stay here for 2 friendly couples (or 2 parents with 3 children) is of course also great. You can prepare your own breakfast and dinner here, but you certainly shouldn't do that every day: Ingrid puts healthy, delicious and always surprising dishes on the table. You can rent their bicycles. Sela is located next to the Drents-Friese Wold National Park, a beautiful area including: the sand dunes of the Aekingerzand. The rugged Fochteloërveen is also nearby, where you can spot cranes with some luck.
