Located in Oosterhesselen, in nature reserve De Hondsrug, Spabron features free access to their extensive wellness facilities including a year-round outdoor pool, 3 bubble baths, a steam bath, 6 saunas and multiple rest areas. Several treatments and massages are offered, including the Ayurvedic massage.

The nature reserve was the first European Geopark and the area is popular for walking. Wildlands Adventure Zoo Emmen is 15 km from Spabron, while Giethoorn is 43 km from Spabron.

There is a shared lounge at the property and a restaurant offering lunch and dinner. The extensive menu card included various healthy meals.

Friendly staff quiet location and nice sauna area. Food is not cheap but drinks are reasonable.

We had enjoyed two wonderful days in this hotel. The rooms are simple but functionally furnished.
Everything was very clean.
TV and free Wi-Fi are available in every room.
We slept wonderfully in the pleasantly soft beds.
From arrival to departure, you don't need any more clothes than a bathrobe. Directly from the rooms you can get to the great sauna area.
The restaurant/bistro offers typical Dutch snacks and healthy salads, as well as various menus.
For +/ — 10 Euros you get loosely full. Everything is very lovingly prepared and the portions are generously sized.
If you want to dine extensively, you also get various delicious menus.
In the restaurant area there are still many comfortable seats in the form of different sofa corners and armchairs.
Furthermore, there is a large gas fireplace with all-around comfortable relaxation chairs, where you can relax and relax comfortably with a drink or a book.
In order to place orders, there are all the numbered bells with which you can draw the attention of a service.
The whole staff is very accommodating, helpful and friendly.
It's a pity that we didn't get to know this fantastic place sooner.
But we will certainly come back soon.
