This was the most relaxing place i've been in 5 weeks of traveling in Nepal.
The rooms are very clean and nice. The owners and staff are so friendly and offer many good tours to go into the jungle. I would reccomand this homestay to everyone!
What a beautiful place! Peaceful, quiet, nice food and Budi & Sonja are very kind and helpful. It is a great place as a starting point for trips in Bardia National Park. Although we did not see tigers (it was not hot enough, so the tigers did not have to go to the river to drink) it is a very nice nature reserve, with lots of birds (more than 80 in three days) and mammals (apes and deer). It was the second time I stayed at and it was still just as good as the first time about five years ago. Sonja, Buddhi and their team run this place in a great way. Clean and comfortable rooms and everyday they offer delicious food and all this for decent prices! Not to forget the great tours (walking or by jeep) in Bardia National Park with excellent guides. And you can also visit the countryside by walking, taking a bicycle from their homestay or just relax in their garden. Every night I ate around the campfire with other visitors, which is really nice when you are travelling solo. I booked them by their own website and after there was very good communication, also about others items/questions in Nepal.
