I had a very nice stay in Nepal yoga home. I followed a 200 hours yoga teacher training. Even in corona times it was very easy to get a visa and to come toNepal. I had a very relaxed and safe stay. The warm family treated me as there own family. I feld very welcome. The teachers were very dedicated and I have learned a lot. I wish I could have stay longer. So thankful for this nice stay and the new friends I’ve met ❤️❤️❤️

Such a wonderful experience! One month of bliss. I just finished my 500 hours YTT and even though the entire city was in total lock down due to corona virus, Prakash and his team made sure we had everything we needed. They took care of us and treated us as family. The classes were incredibly useful and eye opening. I am so grateful for everything they thought me.

I’ve had such an amazing experience here. I’ve felt so welcome and taken care of during my entire stay. Prakash, his family, the staff and the group I was part of felt like one big family. Made some lovely friends and had a lot of fun ❤️ I was looking for a place that would teach every aspect of yoga, to provide a holistic view and that is exactly what I got here. I was able to share and ask questions and got help whenever I needed. Also, the building is beautiful and provides a lot of space to live, practice yoga and go outside in the sun. Thank you!

I completely 100% recommend Nepal Yoga Home enough! Prakash and his family and team are the most loving, caring, passionate and helpful people in the world, they welcome you and make you feel so so so at home! they are absolute professionals and teach all areas of REAL yoga like it is done in the East! When I found Nepal Yoga Home online my gut told me it was the place to go and it was so right :) the accommodation is so cosy and clean, the location is perfect with amazing views, the food is DELICIOUS! I had to unfortunately leave after 200hrs because of the corona virus, but I’m glad it has happened because now I have a reason to return next year and see everyone again when I complete my 500hours can’t wait!

Yoga teacher training at Nepal Yoga Home was fantastic. My teachers were wonderful and I learned so much. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and made everyone feel at home straight away. The accommodation is beautiful.

Love♡ Nepal Yoga Home quickly became a home away from home and we all quickly became a family. The food was beautiful. The people were so kind and lovely. The teachers were authentically trained, knowledgeable, joyful, and personable. The place was so clean and always upkept. It exceeded all my expectations. I did the 200YTT and easily could've extended my stay. On sundays we did site seeing tours or specialty courses. When I'm back in Nepal I'll be back for a visit. What an amazing experience at Nepal Yoga Home. Not only is the venue breathtaking with incredible views of KTM Valley but the instructors are first rate and everybody works so hard to make you feel part of a loving family. I will remember everyone here for the rest of my life. They offer in-depth analysis and discussion of all topics covered and are able to adjust to every level of ability. The schedule is busy but not so much that you don’t have time for personal reflection. The food is first rate. Let it be said that if you are looking to be pampered like in a Western Resort or Spa, this is not the place for you. This is the place for dedicated individuals who want to not only elevate their own practice but their very being to a better and happier place. Each instructor has something unique to offer and picking my favourite would be like having to pick my favourite ice cream. You have no regrets for joining the family at Nepal Yoga Home and I would suggest taking on the challenge of the 500 hour course.

Recently completed the advanced 500 hr yoga and meditation teacher training. Best decision I’ve ever made — I had the most transformational experience at Nepal Yoga Home. Prakash and his family make you feel at home and a part of their family. I will never forget this experience. In order to learn something new and better, I think new place offers you a huge opportunity. However, it depends on me how I use it. After my 10 years of experience in yoga, I have found one and only genuine yoga learning center, Nepal Yoga Home. This center gave me the real experience of doing yoga. I had been travelling different yoga schools and retreat centers but I hadn't find the center which can fulfill my passion in yoga. I did my YTT 200Hrs at Nepal Yoga Home and it was fantastic. The owner of the place and his family are very welcoming and make you feel like a family member, they want to help you to feel as comfortable as possible at home. The house is large and very well maintained and all meals are delicious. Yoga teachers are fantastic and want to help you progress and understand the purpose of the yoga practice. I can only recommend this place 100% if you want to improve your yoga practice with teachers listening and in a peaceful place. It was really good experience for me at Nepal Yoga Home. The place is located in peaceful environment. I appreciate the guru for sharing his knowledge and experience to us. Besides that though the food was cheap it tastes good. If you are seeking for yoga practice or yoga training in Nepal, then Nepal Yoga Home is best for you.

The courses cover many aspects of Yoga from very friendly and well experienced Yogis. Good location and friendly environment, I suggest getting some insects repellent especially in hot seasons. House is cleaned regularly, bed sheets and towels are changed once a week. Food is basic but tasty, and they constantly ask for the guest's opinion to see how they can improve.

One of the best experiences ever! Just finished 200hrs Yoga teaching course. I was really happy to learn a lot and share all those great moments in the incredible place near jungle. Met new people that became my friends and felt like in a family. Healthy food, interesting classes and great teachers. I feel very thankfull for all this journey from the beginning till the end. A big thank you to Prakash and his family and to our inspiring teachers for transforming our souls and hearts and making us better persons every day.
Already missing you all and you will be always in my heart! For sure I will be back one day!

Absolutely amazing place for yoga and meditation course.

Perfect place to learn about life, health and peace.

— Runned down facility, the Yoga hall is falling apart, surface is not flat, the yoga mats are not cleaned after every session and are peeling away. The house is dusty, some students were catching allergies. — Manager/owner overcharges 3 to 4 times more when booking taxis for the yoga home tenants. The taxi booked happens to be belong to his friends. Maybe he takes a commision? IE Yoga Home to Tamel, he charges us 600 roupies, with a taxi of the street is 165. — The food is very basic and cheap, doesn’t make much sense to the 50 to 75 usd per night paid, when they do not have time to cook they go down the street and buy cheap biscuits served for breakfast, or popcorn for lunch. — The students coming in for 10 days retreat are thrown in the same classes as the 500 hours certification course on their 3rd week, doesn’t make any sense for those students. — The yoga instructors ask for “money donation” directly to the students though they already paid the manager Prakash. — Students are packed up 2 per room thought the price is 4 times more expensive than an entire apartment in the same street. — Prakash the manager/owner rushes you to charge your card or cash as soon as you step in the house before giving you the TnC & regulation of the house, later tells them out loud without giving them out in written but forgets to mention an important point which I found out the hard way : the next day I found out while gone for dinner in the city that the gate closes at 9 pm.

I enrolled for a 10 days yoga retreat.
Arrived at the yoga home, no one explained me anything on what was the scheduled. I dived in directly in a yoga class which was given to people doing a 500 hours teacher training.
I was surprised as a 10 days retreat and a ttc training don't expect the same course.
After a day, I asked the owner if we could have our own tuition. He was first reluctant and said it would be nicer for us to follow a ttc training as they are supposed to be given more details.
We accepted to follow their course with the condition we would be given extra details during the practise.
On the whole, the place is basic but clean. The food is basic too and could be a bit more healthier as we are supposed to adopt a yogi life style.
The yoga classes are not the best. I have been practising for 2 years with multiple teachers. And by my experience, they may have the knowledge but clearly they don't know how to pass it on.
I decided to leave earlier as I felt unhappy about my retreat. Didn't learn anything, and thought for this amount money might as well stay in a nice place in Thamel, eat healthy food and take yoga class day by day.
Which I did, and it was way better. I definitely not recommend that place.

Love the leading organization for Yoga in Nepal. Keep it up. Run by well experienced teacher and perfect family management. Love you all.
