Best Hotel in Nepal… very comfortable, nice stuff, very frindly and helpful owners… a place to be in Nepal.

I highly recommend staying at Yala Peak Hotel. The rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious at very reasonable rates. The best part of staying here is the staff, who are friendly and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I'll definitely be staying to Yala Peak when I return Nepal.

The staff at Hotel Yala Peak are always friendly and accommodating. It felt like home! It is clean, they offer drinking water, keep your bag while you're trekking, there is Wi-Fi at every floor and you can have amazing food at Yala cafe!

Best budget hotel in Thamel. Accommodated our few trekking group at Hotel Yala Peak, our all group satisfied with the service what they provided. Best breakfast served at Yala Cafe, good rooms and Wi-Fi work so well. Highly recommended 10/10

Great place with great hospitality! One of the best in Kathmandu! Yala Cafe next to the hotel has also great Nepali food with great prices.

Best place to prepare for trekking and take a rest after it. Especially I liked room at the rooftop: lots of sunlight and silence in the loud Kathmandu. Thanks Durga and his kind and friendly staff, I felt myself like I was in home. Big hugs to you, guys! You are doing great job!

Good place. Staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are okay and beds are comfortable. The location is nice since you don't get a lot of noise. There is a separate restaurant on the main floor and Yala just opened their own for breakfast two doors down. Stored our luggage for no fee. Good place, would stay again.

Ended up staying for a week and now I have friends in KTM. From the midnight airport pickup to the post-trek shower they were wonderful. Service was outstanding and welcoming. Everyone of the staff you speak to is happy to be there and all aspire to make sure guests leave with a smile. They went above and beyond for me and I am forever grateful. Next time I am back in Kathmandu, I will see you again!

It has been a lovely experience to stay here when we were in Kathmandu! Durga and the team took a great care of us, which truly made us feel home. And the breakfast is also a treat. Highly recommended!

We stayed in 3 different hotels in KTM all with high rating, and this one in undoubtedly the best one. People who rate it low just don't imagine what Nepal hotels look like.

Nice place at a great price. The rooms were clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Great to get settled before getting ready for some trekking. Can really recommend a stay here for a low budget.

Amazing hotel for specially backpack travelers. They have opened their own Cafe now, I tried it and it's really good.

A budget friendly guest house run by a local family. They serve some of the best cuisine and their hospitality is also warm.

Nice place. The guys at the reception are very friendly and always ready to help. Very convenient location (near the restaurant "Yak", which is very important for me). Patio, some of the rooms overlook the sunny side. The room for two cost US $13.

Awesome hotel. Perfect location, lovely room and very comfy bed, great shower and good Wi-Fi. Room service is a nice touch and the cafe downstairs has awesome food. Wouldnt stay anywhere else.

People are extremely polite and the managing staff is very courteous as well, but we kept getting nagged by them for "making too much noise" while we were simply conversing… Kinda had a rather hostely connotation.

Good location, you can sleep quietly. Downstairs is a nice restaurant.

You get what you buy for the cheapness but I liked it, clean rooms and friendly staff can't ask for much more. Has free drinking water and no extra cost for printing out tickets. Ideal for backpackers.

This isn't a hotel, its very much like home. The staff become your family. I stayed there for three nights and in three different rooms. The first time I arrived I wasn't sure I liked my room, so they instantly upgraded me to the rooftop on the fifth floor where I watched the monsoon. It was amazing. Then when I came back they didn't have that room anymore so I stayed in a huge room with three beds. At Yala Peak, you just ask and you get. The staff welcomes you every morning with a good morning, all smiling faces. They even help carrying your bags. Once I needed to catch a bus at 4:30 AM and one of the staff walked me to the bus with my bags! Honestly, this is really really a bunch of honest kind lovely people not trying to cheat you. They also have the answers to everything. Book Yala Peak! MOST IMPORTANTLY: Yala Peak is on top of Rosemary's Kitchen which is by far the best food in Kathmandu and Pokhara. The food is divine.

Yala Peak is very economical for travelers on a budget, without the hassle. When you dine in, the hotel does charge the VAT. In addition, they also would bring your coffee to your room — upon request. The atmosphere and the ambience is okay. I always enjoyed my Al fresco breakfast — ergo, there is a patio. The manager is quite nice and the staff speaks English.

Home away from home. Staff friendly, rooms clean & well priced. They can arrange airport pickup and drop off at standard rates, and assist with flights, trips etc. Rosemary restaurant downstairs has delicious food. Will definitely stay here again!

Clean rooms and comfy beds. Water was warm to hot and very welcome. Nice location too, not too loud but still near everything in Thamel. Staff were friendly and responsive to emails before arrival. Very impressed with Yala Peak, would return. Restaurant below is very nice too!

It's a nice hotel to stay. The employees in the hotel are very friendly and helpful. They offer money change service. The hot water supply is not very stable but I think overall it still is a comfortable place to stay. Also, the breakfast is great.

I could recommend this hotel to anyone. It's the best place to stay with good managing, lovely people and comfort for a good price.

One of the cheapest place to stay in thamel. Our room wasnt cleaned after the previous gest leave, so kind of dissapointment.

Great budget hotel with very helpful staff. Shared and private bathrooms. Hot water is available 24 hours and the manager Kumar is always on hand.
