Staff are friendly and responsible Green Horizon Hotel. Very quite and peaceful environment, The room is nice Good Wi-Fi and Clean for everything.

A very nice home stay, tasty meals, room with A/C, Wi-Fi and great mountain view. Kind and helpful owners.

I have stayed there before and after the trekking to the everest base camp. Well located, at the same time it is in the heart of busy Thamel it is a peaceful and restful place. With clean and organized facilities, it is a comfortable hotel for Nepal standards. I was very welcomed by the staff who made all effort to make my stay special. I had a personalized service and attentive to every details. I was very happy with my stay and would highly recommend.

Calm and quiet environment with beautiful amenities.

It was a very nice stay. The staff were friendly and they try to accomodate all my needs as a guest. I would recommend this place for first timers in Kathmandu because they are in a very good location and they have lots of tour packages instore for you.

Excellent location right in Thamel, nice little garden and a reasonable price. Some rooms have AC, all of them have hot water all the time. There's a school nearby and that's the only noise you'll be hearing. Great service as well. Highly recommended.

Stayed in cozy hotel for a night. Awesome garden and also the hospitality was awesome. Breakfast was perfect. Cleaned bathroom and rooms.

Unprofessional staff & dirty room: — Booked airport transfer through the hotel that never showed up at the airport, not the slightest apology from the hotel — Booked a double room but received a twin room — The room looked much dirtier and cheaper than in the pictures online — The bathroom was a dump — Staff wanted to overcharge me for the room and breakfast.

Just good for budget traveller. No breakfast provided. Good for shopping.

I liked this place very much! Friendly staff, clean rooms, in center of Thamel, everything is very close, but place is hidden from road and noise! I will definitely recommend this place to my friends!

I had a problem with another hotel nearby, they arranged an airport pick up but forgot me and I coukd not contact them. Two trekking friends I met on the trails had previously suggested Hotel Horizon. I located it with ease. Immediately the staff were warmhearted and welcoming. I soon had a sizeable room with a lush hot shower and balcony space. The beds were comfortable and the room's desk most convenient for writing. The sun-kissed garden and rooftop welcomed all. I found all my niggly little requests were met with cheer and the staff here accomodated me well. A simple, yet limited, menu and sound advice about where to eat locally did the trick. Airport dropoff was arranged and Wi-Fi was useful throughout. I stayed in room 204, dated decor but most cosy. I will only use this Kathmandu hotel in future. Nepal must be explored, because its there.

Stayed 1week with my family in Hotel Horizon which is located in JP marg Thamel. It has Awesome Cool Environment. Staffs are helpful and friendly, clean and comfortable room, price is cheaper than other Hotels

This is center thamel and nice quite hotel.

I paid 10$ for the night … My room was at the top… the room had a TV and a phone to contact the reception … When I woke up this morning and decided to order coffee on the phone, it turned out that the phone is there for beauty In other things like a TV… Even the fact that I lived on the top gave me the privilege to see the city… All the rest of the class and the hot water was really hot… And another important point… All the sockets are just horrible, or giant types of plugs… So take it with a tee:)
