A budget hotel on Thamel yet very clean, close from the center. Above all very friendly staffs. We enjoyed our stay there.

This place is the perfect budget hotel. The rooms are clean, great location, super clean and the higher floor you're on, the better the view from your room. In addition to great facilities, I have to say how unbelievably helpful the staff was. Not only did they help me book a bus to Pokhara, and then re-book it when we were too sick to go, but when we left a pair of expensive headphones in our room, I was able to call them and they found them for me immediately. I will for sure be staying here on my way back through Kathmandu, I can't recommend this place enough. Good breakfast too!

Very good hotel, very friendly and helpfull staff. Near Thamel, but more quiet. Good shower! Clean rooms. In this budget range it is a very good hotel! The staff helped us with selecting the places to visit during our mini trekking trough the Kathmandu Valley! Recommended.

The hotel's internal environment is quite good. Well decorated. I enjoyed the free breakfast too. But I booked a family room where 3 adults and 1 child could be accommodated according to their statement. So I booked the hotel for 2 adults and 2 kids. Unfortunately after entering room it was cramped to me. There was a double bed and a single bed practically where 3 adults and 1 kid accommodation is impossible. I was disappointed. I asked them to give me a slipper extra because only single slipper was there for 3 adults (! ). They fortunately supplied it as well as an extra pillowaccording to my demand. But they did not supply me an extra single blanket where only 2 blankets there. These were 2 short for 2 adults and 2 kids. They did not provide it and advised me to adjust the A. C. In normal temperature. Instantly I changed my plan and rescheduled my tour to pokhra after 2 night stay there (it was scheduled for 3 nights there) But no doubt the hotel is clean, calm and quite. Staff's are also amicable. This is a good hotel for solo traveller and group travellers.

The bed and breakfast also provides car rental. The nearest airport is Tribhuvan Airport, 5 km from the property. Thamel is a great choice for travelers interested in shopping, food and hiking. This is our guests' favorite part of Kathmandu, according to independent reviews. I stayed here for a week and then left to trek and came back for one night before flying home. The desk staff were beyond kind and helpful and really made this little hotel worth staying at. I was supposed to be traveling with a friend the first week but things changed and I ended up by myself. The staff went out of their way to recommend places to go, help me find transportation, etc. And were all full of smiles and very helpful. Room was clean and comfortable and the in room bathroom had a western toilet, hot water and good shower pressure.

The location is perfect, close to Thamel and in a reasonably quiet street. Rooms are clean and spacious. Above all, the staff was SUPER friendly, helping us for all kind of stuff, there 24h, and always very kind. We would come back!

Wonderful place with homely atmosphere. Great location with less noise and just next to central Thamel. The hot shower is the best I found, reliable fast Wi-Fi. Staffs are very friendly. Highly recommended.

Hotel location is very convenient, near big shopping complex. Staff is very pleasant and careful. Mr. Badri reply very quickly and full to mail with any query. Room is clean and very cozy. Wi-fi available in all premises and anywhere working properly. Food in restaurant is very delicious and cooking in compliance with rich menu personal to you in your convenient time. Tea and coffee available full day free of charge. Travel service also is very nice. Available guide service, transportation, booking mountain flight, pick up and drop to airport. Guests can pay for hotel service by any currency cash or any card. I very enjoy of my stay in hotel and recommend it to all who plan travel to Nepal.

Loved staying at Tibet Peace Inn. The shower was absolutely amazing! Best shower in I've had in Nepal actually (really good water flow and super hot), so one of the reasons we extended our stay. The rooms are really clean, bright and lovely. Mattresses are fantastic, same with bed linen. Wifi is great too. Also great value for money, especially if you get the yummy breakfast included. The staff were really helpful, friendly and welcoming. The location is also fantastic for all the great restaurants and sights/shopping in and around Thamel. I would highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back myself! Thanks Tibet Peace Inn P. S. One little tip/feedback for you Tibet Peace Inn — maybe next time don't say the credit card machine is 'broken' when it isn't! I got to use it so it's just a minor point, but that would have made my stay even better :)

We stayed here in the beginning and end of our tour throuh Nepal, coming back for a last night, felt like coming home.
Friendly always helpful staff, great breakfast, clean rooms, warm water, good Wi-Fi, great location, long term Luggage storage available, nothing to complain about.

If you are traveling to Kathmandu I would suggest staying nowhere else but Tibet Peace. Absolutely the best hotel for the price and the staff is absolutely amazing. Anything that you need they will take care of it. I will not stay anywhere else but here from now on when I come to Nepal!

This is a great place in Thamel. Newly established, well furnished, European standard hotel offers very reasonable price.
