Five14 B&B Hotel

Love this place! The staff are so kind and friendly, and the rooms are very clean, simple, and nice. Their menu is broad, and the food is very good. Love the location of the b&b — there’s lots to do in the area surrounding the b&b.

We spent 2 months in Nepal and half of that was with Five14. We had a great time with them. The B&B has great customer service. The front desk was always quick to help and I definitely asked a lot of while being in such a different country. The rooms were good and hot showers were a relief after trekking around Nepal. We can’t wait to go back and spend more time with Five14!

Five14 was my home in Nepal for several days. I loved the experience. The staff was unbelievably friendly and put up with my repeated attempts to speak Nepalese with smiles and encouragement. They easily accomedated our group of 30 guys with no issues. The breakfasts on the rooftop were always quite enjoyable and the rooms were really nice. The shower was instantly hot. This was a great welcome after our return from adventuring in the Himalayas. My laundry was returned to me ahead of the schedule in less than 12 hours and they did not lose anything, not one sock was missing. I can't even accomplish this at home. There was always filtered water waiting for us in the hall. I was able to buy some very nice gifts for family in the reception area. I hope to return to Nepal for other adventures and I equally hope to be able to stay at five14.

This B&B is incredible. Soft beds, great room service, and a superb breakfast. It is really catered to comfort the individual before heading into a trek, or anything else. AND the staff are incredible. Especially the day Manger! :p.

I'm just amazed by this place! Sally, Yogi, and the team have such a heart for the people in Nepal and the travellers who've come to experience this incredible country. Rooms are private or dorm, the breakfast is just what we wanted in the morning, there is ample FREE Wi-Fi, and 24 hr staff onsite. Once you're here you'll see how they use the modest income from the B&B, cafe and trekking business to directly help remote communities. So whether you're here for fun or to help the people here — staying here will help to 'do your bit' for Nepal. Also, check their sister company that does trekking = Five14 Adventure :-)

We have stayed here 4 times and enjoyed every time. The beds and pillows are comfortable and I love the hot showers. Breakfasts are my favorite and my husband says the coffee is the best. The staff is always helpful and the laundry service is a plus.

Nice place to stay where you are within a city but peaceful surroundings. You have a wonderful rooms and breakfast. It has a small meeting room as well.

This is an INCREDIBLE place to stay! Enjoyed amazing Nepali hospitality (they make you feel so special! ) but with North America standards in the rooms. Quality linens, comfy beds and super helpful staff! Rooms include delicious breakfast at in-house Kairos Cafe, which has the best coffee in Kathmandu!

What makes Five 14 so special and wonderful are the people that run the place. They are sincere and genuinely caring people who serve well and strongly desire each guest to have a top notch experience. They have gone above and beyond to help us make our plans and to help coordinate transportation and various activities around the local area.
The rooms are very comfortable, the food at Kairos Cafe is always delicious and the service is super friendly. We would definitely come back here.
