Front of house staff are incredibly friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make you feel welcome in beautiful Pokhara. Hotel itself is clean and has a really relaxing vibe. Family friendly too!

Great location to stay. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are clean. Breakfast is lovely, especially the waffles we got some mornings. Highly recommend you stay here.

Hotel Karuna is one of the newer medium-sized hotels in Pokhara with an amazing city view. It is also just 500 meters (1, 640 feet) from Fewa Lake. You can see it from your balcony along with Annapurna range backdrop. You can rent a bike from the hotel so you can bike to the lake and to the World Peace Pagoda, which is just 1.9 kilometers (1.2 miles) as well. The rooms have spacious cuts with a flat-screen TV and a seating area where you can relax outdoors. If you’d like a complete 360-degree view, you can head to the rooftop. Another great advantage is that the location isn’t exactly in a crowded part of Pokhara. It’s still walking distance but it’s not on the main street, so you don’t have to hear the chatter and roars of cars.

Modern vibe, lovely breakfast, clean and spacious rooms, with Wi-Fi, and hot water — this hotel was exactly what I was looking for. The staff were friendly and conversational with recommendations for restaurants and directions around the Lake District. The location is great for walking to Phewa Lake with loads of shops and restaurants nearby. Some rooms have air conditioning and some don't, so take care when booking if that is important. Rooms have a nice balcony and there is rooftop accessibility for a 360° view to the lake and surrounding hills. The breakfast usually has two hot options like pancake, potatoes, or eggs along with bread/toast, cereal and yogurt and fruit. Coffee is splendid and a selection of teas are available. I adored my time here.

We were put up here for our last included night of our 20 day treck. It was very comfortable, the staff were helpful, and it was clean and nice. Breakfast was amazing with make you own pour over coffee. A little high end for Nepal (not much for Westerners) but if it fits your budget it's totally worth it.

Excellent value for a nice, clean new hotel off the Main Street in Pokhara. Big rooms, big beds, great hot shower, and a nice fresh breakfast (fruits, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, pour over coffee). Highly recommended.

This is a lovely hotel if you're staying in Pokhara. It's a short walk up from the main street of Lakeside so even on New Year's Eve it's still quiet — but you're close enough to the action if you'd like it!
Staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful, breakfasts are great (we really appreciated the fresh fruit every morning without any worries of getting sick), rooms are comfortable, bathrooms fresh. We'd stay here again!

Wow! Fantastic place in Pokhara. Coffee by Kar. Ma is awesome. The hotel rooms are very clean and overall a very beautiful place and friendly staff.

Very comfortable hotel with spacious rooms. Staff are competent, helpful and friendly. Karma coffee is excellent and goes well with the simple and tasty breakfast which changes daily. Very good Wi-Fi in rooms and the lobby. Our bed was comfortable and the shower not. What more could you ask for?

Spent 2 weeks here while in Pokhara. I had a great time. The staff were friendly, and the rooms are clean. The hotel is close to the lake and shopping.
Just would stay here next time I am in Nepal!

The hotel is very good located in a premium Location of Pokhara. I loved that I stayed Here. They provide me the best services and the breakfast was so delicious. The Staff was also so friendly and corporative. There is a travel desk also in hotel where I booked my taxi for going back to Kathmandu.

Beautiful space tucked just away from the main street with a tranquil home like feel from the moment you walk in the door, to the stunning rooms all the way up to the roof where amazing sunsets and vistas of the lake and mountains graces your present. The people are super helpful and friendly and provided a great atmosphere throughout our stay. Thanks Karuna!

The property is very close to the famous Lakeside, but really surprised at how the hustle and bustle did not bother the environment nearby. Thanks to the Madam Kelly and the management, I was upgraded to another AC room with an excellent view. Not once did I have to turn the AC on because of the excellent ventilation and proper positioning of the windows. During my stay, I noticed that there was at least one TAXI on standby right outside the gate of Karuna. (Always handy when in a hurry! ) A small breakdown of my experience. Bed — Cozy as ever and most importantly, Clean Linen. Bathroom — Spick and Span (Just how you wished your throne would be :D) Shower — Both hot and cold water options within seconds. Balcony — Best view of the Lakeside alongside casual sip of grounded Coffee. Terrace — Excellent view of nearby hills, the Fewa lake and the majestic Machhapuchhre (not during the hazy days though : (). Courtyard — serene piece of a porch that you may have your wonderful breakfast while basking the sun. Every individual member of the hotel was really warm and welcoming. Really helpful and Active, always offering you brewed coffee (that is once you expose your addiction of coffee to them :P). Surprisingly each serving was better than the last one. Hats off towards Hotel Karuna family who truly have a keen attention to details. The most important necessity for a tech-savvy guy like me — SOCKETS / POWER OUTLETS.

Great people and super nice hotel, with quality rooms at a good price, can, hot water and a good Wi-Fi connection… not to mentioned @karMaCoffee.
