What can I say? This is what camping is all about. Pure. Simple. Nothing over the top—just exactly what you need.
A great campsite and some genuinely useful travel advice. Zuricamp offers both.
Markus, the owner, gave us so many tips that turned out to be invaluable as we continued our trip through Namibia. One note mentioned a hyena den under some trees at a certain corner in the road—and sure enough, exactly at that spot, we saw one. We would’ve never spotted it without that heads-up.
Normally, I wouldn’t consider Wi-Fi a camping essential, but it came in super handy as we were preparing for Etosha. Coming from Botswana, where we’d been offline for 4-5 days, having the best internet of our entire trip in the most private and secluded place was pretty ironic—and, I have to admit, actually quite nice.
Heads-up: You’ll need mobile data to get in. We didn’t have any and when we booked last minute from a restaurant, we were already on our way by the time the entry instructions came through.
By sheer luck, another guest was leaving at the exact moment we arrived at the gate. Otherwise, we would’ve been seriously disappointed.
If you’re looking for a place to break up your trip between Etosha and the Zambezi region (or the other way around), this is the spot. The only problem? You’ll wish you could stay longer.
Amazing location. Wonderful plunge pool. Excellent Wi-Fi Communication with the host had its challenges as we we're traveling without data.

This place is perfect stay outside of Etosha. We had Madini tent which was equipped with everything we needed — kitchen, normal bathroom with hot water, 4 big beds and private swimming pool to enjoy the sunset.
