This was one of the most spectacular Get-Aways I have yet experienced. Amazing accommodation facilities, amazing hosts, wildlife guide and staff ensure an individualized and great Namibian wildlife experience. The sunset drives were tops.

Our stay at Sandfontein Lodge and Nature Reserve was one of those travel experiences you never forget – and that are almost impossible to put into words.
We had the privilege of staying in the beautiful Sand Suite, furnished with great attention to detail. The absolute highlight: the large outdoor bed with mosquito net. Falling asleep under the Namibian starry sky was simply magical.
The recent renovation has elevated the lodge tremendously. Everything looks stylish, high-quality, and at the same time perfectly in harmony with the breathtaking landscape. Sandfontein is not a place you simply “visit” – it is a place you feel. For us, it is truly a place for the soul. The vastness, the silence, and the unique atmosphere are hard to describe.
A huge thank you to the lodge managers Chéri and Adriaan. The many conversations we shared, your warmth, and the way you truly take time for your guests made our stay very special. You don’t feel like a guest here – you feel like a friend.
The entire staff was exceptionally attentive and welcoming. The cuisine was outstanding – every meal was a delight. The all-round care and hospitality were simply first-class.
One of the highlights was the sundowner drive with Adriaan – a perfect moment in this unique landscape. In fact, we even spent an entire day just relaxing by the pool. Throughout our whole Namibia trip, this was by far the largest and most beautiful pool – and exactly the right place to let your soul unwind.
