We had a truly amazing time at Ugab Game Farm & Lodge. From the moment we arrived all the staff were friendly and helpful. We had an amazing time sitting on the viewing platform, enjoying our drinks from the wonderful bartender and watching the rhinos, sables, zebra, giraffe, and wildebeest graze. We were lucky enough to be upgraded into one of the rooms where we could later watch the animals from our own balcony — and from the outdoor showers!
The food at the restaurant was also incredible. After dinner we enjoyed the fire pit with the owner, CP, who told us about UGFL and the three rhinos while they ate their dinner just on the other side of the fence. We also did the game walk in the morning and our guide was very friendly and knowledgable about all the animals and tracks that we saw.
We had a really special time at UGFL and would recommend it to anyone, for both the animals and the wonderful staff.

On our Namibia tour, the stay at the Ugab Game Farm was an absolute highlight. What C. P. Roberts and his team have achieved here is remarkable. We have rarely experienced so much honest hospitality, informative conversations and a pleasant, almost familial atmosphere on our trip. The rooms on the farm are as good as new (we were there in September 2024) and equipped with absolutely everything you need. An extraordinary highlight is the uncovered but not visible terrace, where you can enjoy a bath under the stars and even watch the animals. The team, who gave us a very informative nature walk and a game drive with many insights and surprising extras, should not go unmentioned.

What a place to stay! Everything is very clean, rooms are spacious with nice double bed and big bathroom, walk-in rainshower … and the animals of the game farm right next to you doorstep. Ugab Game Farm has white rhinos and really a lot of antelopes from roan and sable to kudu, springbock, zebra and giraffe. The breeding animals live all together in an enclosure next to the lodge. It feels like Arche Noah. You can sit by the campfire and watch them or use the stone lookout for a higher view. The mountains in the background just add to the scenery. Did a gamedrive and had a day at the pool. The staff really get out of its way to be helpful and make your stay extraordinary. One evening the owner even made a potje for the guests to showcase southafrican food. We really enjoued the place, especially because of the friendlieness of everybody and the fact, that there are only 6 rooms — so you have really privacy. Would love to book again. Our plan was to stop off here on the way to Etosha and we now wished we stayed longer. The hospitality is outstanding, as we were made to feel at home by the owner. Food was excellent and the whole set up was so relaxing. Then the highlight was the wildlife, with a viewing platform over the waterhole to see so many different species from rhinos to kudu. Then the room, with an open air bathroom looking out to all the animals was magical. Don’t make our mistake and only stay one night, stay several and get spoilt.

Super friendly hosts and staff who made us feel right at home! The perfect accommodation for a unique and relaxing experience on your Namibia road trip, seeing all the animals was a massive highlight. The food was delicious, with a great drinks and wine selection.

From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction.
The owner was super nice and flexible, and helped us get a room at short notice; the level of personalized service was remarkable as we were the only guests there.
One of the standout features of our visit was the personalized culinary experience.
The lodge arranged for a private chef to cook for us, and every meal was great. The chef took the time to understand our preferences and dietary requirements which we appreciated. Each dish was delicious.
The accommodations were luxurious and very comfortable, providing the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern amenities.
The lodge is beautifully furnished and we loved the bathroom design, high quality bedding and the majestic dining room.
We enjoyed breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape and the peaceful ambiance allowed us to fully unwind and connect with nature. The animals on the farms were another highlight of our stay. It was fabulous to see the rhinos, giraffes and so many others up close.
We also did a short game drive in the area, and Christian the driver and guide was great.

People often say, “there is no place like home” but Ugab Game Farm is a true definition of a perfect home away from home. Over the weekend, we experienced style and luxury.
From the moment we checked in, we experienced nothing but 5-star treatment. Once we were ushered to our rooms, l could not stop admiring the interior as it is absolutely breath-taking. The spacious lounge offered us a space to relax where you could enjoy nice music.
The view of the landscape and mountains are breathtaking with wild animals grazing just a few feet away.
We stayed in the Luxury Room. The outside shower and bath area is a nice touch. All the other guest rooms were just as magical — if you are thinking of a group or family holiday, Ugab Game Farm is perfect. We travelled as a group of 11 and all l can say is that this weekend getaway was good for the soul.

Home in Namibia on a visit from Canada, I was lucky enough to spend 3 nights at UGFL last week with my mom and sister — what a luxurious spoiling in our beloved Namibian bush. Our rooms were amazing — the outdoor showers being the winner for us! We loved observing the game from the terrace, enjoyed a wonderful nature drive with an experienced guide and sampled CP's excellent cooking every evening. With only a few rooms available currently, it's worth booking in advance to experience this great lodge and wonderful area of Namibia.
It was still quite warm so we definitely appreciated the pool and the air conditioned rooms!

Ugab Game Farm and Lodge will forever be in my memories.
From the moment we parked the van everything felt luxurious. Beautifully clean and well kept. We had a luxury room and the outside bath was amazing. To watch the stars in the night sky and rhinos drinking from the water trough, while in a bath is what dreams are made of. The bed was SO comfortable and the finishing touches in the room just perfect.
CP was a host above the rest. His cooking was out of this world. Home cooked food made our stay here that much more special, everything was delicious! Besides the cooking the hosting and energy CP puts into his lodge is magical. He has the perfect balance of being present and giving space. We as a family miss his friendly face, also his enthusiasm and love for Namibia. He has so much knowledge and stories to share, making the stay that much more informative.
This Lodge surpassed our expectations. A real gem to visit.
