Peace Garden Lodge

Guest opinions regarding the staff are divided. Some describe the employees as extremely polite, attentive, and ready to help—for example, quickly replacing a shower head or bed linens. Others characterize the staff and management as very unfriendly and unprofessional, noting that when complaints about room malfunctions are made, employees attempt to find excuses rather than offering a solution or an alternative accommodation option.

The restaurant offers a limited menu consisting of steaks, ribs, and pizza, which some guests describe as "out of this world," although others find it overly cheesy. Breakfasts are heavily criticized: guests complain about service delays, a meager selection (one slice of cheese, sausage, and butter per person), stale bread, and a lack of pepper on the tables. Additionally, the quality of the coffee is noted as being extremely low, leading to recommendations to bring your own.

Guests report serious issues with the technical equipment in the rooms. Several reviews explicitly state that Wi-Fi is unavailable in the rooms and that the televisions do not work.

The rooms at Peace Garden Lodge are in need of renovation and thorough maintenance. Guests have noted holes in the curtains, worn-out furniture, and a general lack of tidiness. The beds are equipped with mosquito nets, and the mattresses are described as firm. In some instances, dirty sheets were encountered, although these were promptly replaced upon request.

The water supply system is unstable: there are complaints of a total lack of hot water, very low pressure, or situations where only boiling water comes out of the tap. There have been cases where toilets would not refill, requiring them to be filled manually for flushing. The air conditioners do not function correctly, and in some rooms, they emit an unpleasant odor.

The level of cleanliness is a major point of contention. Guests report dirty bathrooms, dust, and even food being served on dirty dishes in the restaurant. The grounds appear neglected; the grass is not mowed, and the general condition is reminiscent of a junkyard. However, some visitors note that the rooms were clean thanks to the efforts of specific staff members.

There is a small swimming pool on the premises. However, its condition is rated as unsatisfactory: guests mention broken tiles around the perimeter, poor water quality, and completely dilapidated children's playgrounds nearby.

The hotel provides certain amenities for families; for example, staff can arrange an additional mattress on the floor for children. However, the overall state of the infrastructure, including the ruined children's playgrounds by the pool, makes a stay with children less comfortable.

There is a campsite associated with the hotel, which guests rate positively. It has been praised for its pleasant atmosphere, affordability, cleanliness of facilities, and the availability of hot water and electricity at each site.
