Reviews of Peace Garden Lodge
My spouse and myself had a rather bad experience visiting this guest facility. We attempted to resolve the issue in writing (three times) and in peron without being afforded any means of resolve.
With reference to the unresolved issue below, the following:
Reception did not revert back to us to offer us an alternative room with functioning amenities for the second night of our stay as requested. We therefore, as discussed, did not return to the guest facility for the second night of our planned stay. We started the 700 kilometres back home and stayed over in Windhoek on our way back, where we could at least take a decent shower for the first time in almost two days.
Our visit to your guest facility was a downright dissapointment and a waste of money. We also had to revise our plans and return home a day early, because we were unable to find alternative guest accomodation on such short notice.
To reiterate, the following issues were experienced by my spouse and myself during the first night of our stay:
1. Television not working.
2. Water supply not working, except for the toilet.
3. Aircon not working properly.
4. Wifi not avaiable in room.
5. Curtains have holes in it.
6. No hot water.
The unit is urgently in need of upgrading.
The unit was NOT suiteable for paying customer use.
At the reception, the receptionist elected not to address our dilemma with the unsuiteable guest unit, but to attempt to provide an excuse for every one of the shortcomings.
Bad experience…. Was a Slow day for them but when we showed up, the service was bad. Ordered hansa draught but we were served half glasses so we left.

I like their campsite, not too busy, maybe because it’s a transitional location. Facilities are clean, hot water available and electricity is available on each campsite.
