Where is Frans Indongo Lodge located and what is nearby?

The lodge is located in a green part of the country, within its own private reserve, creating the atmosphere of a secluded oasis with gardens and palm trees. It is situated on the way from Windhoek to Etosha National Park and is relatively close to Waterberg. Guests note that the property is easily accessible, even by sedan. However, one visitor pointed out that the route to the Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF) now requires a detour via the main road, which takes about 2.5 hours round trip.

10/10

Our stay at Frans Indongo Lodge was truly a pleasure from start to finish—it exceeded our expectations in every way.
What stood out most was the staff—they were exceptional. Every single person we interacted with was kind, professional, and genuinely attentive. You could feel they took pride in their work and cared about making guests feel welcome. Their warm smiles and helpful attitude added so much to the experience.
The lodge itself is beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained. It's surrounded by the lodge’s private game farm, so you can see wild animals roaming freely nearby—an incredible bonus that makes the setting even more special.
We left feeling rested, appreciated, and grateful for such a lovely stay. Highly recommended!

À beautiful place really. We enjoyed our 2 days there with our 2 kids. Everything is charming, the rooms, the restaurant, the view on the terrace on the water hole. I recommend really.

A bit dated but the game drive is excellent. The staff are also excellent except for The maitre'd in the restaurant who is very annoying with stupid jokes. Their are no options for the evening meal and you don't know what dinner is until a few hours before, so if you don't like it, you may be hungry. Otherwise a very good Lodge with a water hole to view the game.
