We stayed at Ntunda Lodge in October 2020 and had a fantastic experience. Located just 7km outside of Oshakati, the lodge provides a more relaxed village environment with excellent service and a clean environment. There is a restaurant on sight serving local Oshiwambo food that is worth the drive from Etosha! There is a nice swimming pool where weekends are frequented by locals. We went on a local pottery tour which was fascinating and filled with information about the regional culture. We shall stay at Ntunda again! Very good value.
I like the lodge and the service they are good people.

For this price everything could be great with one exception: we could not sleep at night as they had used some stinky disinfectant in huge quantities that would not go inspite of airing the place thoroughly.
Unfortunately, we booked it "on the go" and oversaw this "detail" that ruined our stay.
The service was good, though one waitress was a kind of irritated when we told her we would like to pay for the stay on the first day. Guess, she was not fond of her job, but we found her reaction funny. Manager gave us some good tips.
This was actually the only place where I could find some local food und try Mopane since the beginning of the journey, as all lodges serve either beafsteak or fish in 2:1 ratio. For my taste, they use too much salt, though.
