The owners received us and looked after us like we were family and friends of theirs. They took care of every little detail and gave us more than we expected. Dinner was not planned but they were more than happy at short notice to make it for us. Attie and Marie are the best! I would be back if I could.

Family has recommended Oryx Guest House as being the best lodgings in town, and we won't be arguing with that. From Marie's warm welcome to seeing our fantastic double room we never had any complaints. This place really deserves a longer stay if you are in the area, and they also offer desert and dune tours.

We find Oryx Guesthouse on TripAdvisor and Tracks4africa. From the moment we arrived, it felt like home. First a couple of oryx in the street welcomed us. Managers, Attie, Marie, Wicus and Christine was super friendly.
Diner was made on fire, the Namibië way. The ensuite room was need and furnished like my own at home. In the morning we made our self some coffee, that was provided in the room, and enjoyed it in the garden… like I said, as at home. After coffee, we have breakfast. Also the Namibië way.
