Whent to the restaurant and orders and ham and cheese tostie that took 2 houres to arrive infrount of me. The fries where great the tostie was burnt black on the bottom and playing so much for such a simple meal that took 1 hour and 45minutes and was burn I do sky recommwnd.

Very nice accomodation. Huge comfy king size bed. Great staff. Swimming pool spotless but would have been ideal with a grass area. Food top notch as well.

Great food! Very impressed with the quality of food. The steaks are done to perfection with a delicious garlic butter topping!
The service was equally good!

Nice restaurant in the city. You can try many good dishes and the prices are ok.
During the weekend is only one restaurant open so you can see many people from the city.

It's a great place, however the thatch roof brought a lot of issues, lots of dust and bugs that kept on falling in the beds. The service was great, but only because of Sky, who has now left. Kitchen is a bit slow, but tood tastes really good.

We had dinner in the restaurant last night and will never ever go there again. We waited close to 2 hours for the food and even a beer is difficult to get. 3 desperate guests waited at the entrance to the kitchen complaining that they want their food.
When the meals finally arrived we found the portions too small for the money they charge.
This place is a total rip-off.

Spent a night in this luxurious hotel and wish I had spent more time.

What a surprising find! We only spent one night there and was upset that we didn't stay two or three nights. The food, service, and price were outstanding. Omaruru is a town full of good surprises — so we made a very bad decision to only stay one night. The room was very comfortable and very clean. I expected a "bad water" place but instead found a class act hotel. The breakfast needs some improvement but it worked. You won't go away hungry. The pool is lovely. It looked like the play area would light up most children.

Friendly service. Clean bathrooms. Good food. Nice playground.

Sky served us at both dinners, he was attentive and very courteous, he stepped in to help the waiting staff.

Great atmosphere great service.
Delicious steak and cold beer.

We loved it — the beds are fantastic and the staff are the most helpful. My partner left his wallet behind and they organised a courier to get it sent overnight to Swakopmund. We are so grateful for their kindness and would highly recommend this place :)

I absolutely love this place! The food is great, the wait staff was brilliant, friendly and just went above and beyond on the customer satisfaction. Every time we visit Kashana we get treated with the utmost respect. The restaurant has an inside and outside area like much to a fancy garden. I highly recommend this place as a stop on your travels for a beautiful and lovely evening, filled with good food and good vibes.

Went there for dinner alone tonight. Told one of the waiters at the kitchen to please come serve me upon arrival. I sat down and waited for 20 minutes without being served. Not the first time that the service was so slow and the waiters are uneducated about their menu. They will not see me again. Central Hotel is a way better alternative and professional service!

Had an absolute great experience! Staff were kind and friendly from the get go. The place looks stunning, the rooms were very clean, neat and tidy! Dstv in the rooms, a fridge, a hair dryer, air conditioning and even mosquito nets! The pool was very nice and clean, and they provide towels at the pool for when one gets out of the pool. At the pool there’s a nice outdoor shower. The waiters at the restaurant are very well trained and very attentive! The food was absolutely delicious. The chef knows what he’s doing! The breakfast buffet was also well prepared and the have great cappuccino. Overall the place has a chilled atmosphere and I highly recommend it! Thank you for the wonderful experience Kashana!

We stayed for 2 nights for work in the region. They offer a 5-10% covid discount which is a lot less than most places in Namibia at the moment, but take it or leave it I guess. This is one of the more upmarket places in Omaruru town and that shows in the price. The rooms are however big and spotless. Very good beds and surroundings. Good Wi-Fi. The food is excellent in its class.
But.
Annoying was the miscommunication on the phone about the price of the family room before arrival. Although some staff is good, others need service and language training as they are just not ready to communicate with guests and also don't try. I am leaning towards 3.5 stars which is not an option and the constant miscommunication with some staff, sulky faces, breakfast being late despite us being the almost only guests (paying good money in a downtime) would make 4 stars a stretch. The potential is there though! Definitely give it a try.
