Great deck on the river. It's a great place to try your hand at fishing too.
This lodge is nestled by the Okavango River, separating Namibia from Angola. We used the Google maps to get here but the road signage will suffice. The little off road is about 10km and suitable for all kinds of cars.
The restaurant is right by the river, and so were all our rooms. We had a 3 course dinner with Oryx as the main, and it was tender and delicious, wish I had more. Breakfast was just average. Would have loved some bacon/sausage or beans. The sunset is to die for, and pictures wont do justice to it. The hostess, Apollonia was very welcoming and attentive to us, but unfortunately we didn’t meet the owner. It is a quiet, serene and peaceful place where you are nestled to sleep by the waves of the Okavango. My kids wanted another night but unfortunately we had to leave.
The rooms are meticulous, with gas powered geysers which are very hot.
Wifi is only limited to the restaurant and reception area, so you can quickly check in with loved ones and get to relax.

The attention to detail is incredible here! We stayed in the tents and my oh my it was relaxing, clean and comfortable (even had a box with utensils/braai essentials). Food and river cruise were super as well. The staff were very friendly and kind. 5/5 stars would recommend!
