I can only recommend this lodge! We camped on campsite for two nights and spent our last night in two of the rooms. It was beautiful… Everything is neat and clean and organised. Food is great and breakfast was out of the books — fresh, fresh, fresh! Fishing wasn't great, due to overfishing in the area, but you still have a stunning pool, peaceful deck, spa etc. To keep you busy with. We loved it and will be back!

Beautifully designed rooms with views of the flowing river. The room is tastefully furnished and equipped with everything you need. The entire front of the room and bathroom is made of glass, allowing you to enjoy the view of nature even from the bed. The rooms are completely private. Breakfast is of the highest quality and offers a wide variety, and dinner is equally excellent. This was our second stay at the lodge, and we would definitely return.

Fantastic place — a must do if you’re in the area! The location is wonderful, right on the river bank and surrounded by nature; the rooms are unique — waking up looking at the river felt special each morning (also have camping spots that look very nice) ; and there are so many activities to keep you busy during your stay (sundowner river cruise a must if you can handle the proximity to the many hippos. ).
Three special mentions: to the manager, who went above and beyond on our first day to help us with a car issue, checked in regularly on our stay, and gave us very precise recommendations for our onwards journey to Botswana; to Lucas, who took us on the most special mountain bike trip and very genuinely shared the customs of his tribe (while challenging our fitness level) ; and to the owners of the lodge, whom we did not meet but who are actively engaging with and supporting the local communities with water and school projects. Thank you — looking forward to being back!

We stayed at a very nice campsite right on the river. Private bathroom with a gas water heater – fantastic! The lodge itself is also wonderful; it's small and charming, with cozy wooden furnishings. The staff is friendly, and there's a great pool area. The romantic dinner on the terrace was also delicious.
Absolutely a recommendation.

We enjoyed staying at one of the campsites close to the beautiful Lodge. The view to the river was great! Each campsite has its own toilet and shower house, wich was very cute and clean. We can highly recommend the sunrise boat tour. Nice pool and friendly staff!

We recently stayed at this lovely lodge over our 3 week stay in Namibia. I wanted to wait until the end of our trip to process a good and honest review of the lodge experience. Overall I can say it was a pleasant experience, food was catered fairly well for a vegan and vegetarian, view from our room was gorgeous and the activities on offer were enjoyable! The owner of the lodge took the time each evening to check in with us which we found to be a sweet and personal touch!
To give some constructive feedback, and the only thing lacking with this lodge was the staff who gave a very bare minimum vibe. For example asking for a bottle of water felt as though I was being a stress to them and a lot of the time the water (or requested drink) was warm and served with a sigh. There was also no offer offer to help with bags to the room which was a challenge for me personally as I was recovering from a torn ligament and fractured toe, the ground to the rooms are also not paved so it’s not exactly easy or accessible with a heavy suitcase. I also got a massage while I was there for 1hr which ended after approximately 40min which was disappointing.
Other than the disinterested, low energy staff, we had a good stay. I did not want to give this lodge a low rating as I can see the owners are trying very hard here, the saving grace was definitely the hippos and local birdlife.

A lovely campsite featuring private areas equipped with everything you need. Each afternoon, guests can enjoy complimentary coffee and cake at the reception, which has a beautiful deck overlooking the surrounding views.
We also did the sunset cruise and we recommend it.

Beautiful, shady riverside campsite with a pool for those steamy days! Peaceful, clean, and with stunning views. The hosts and staff were very warm and friendly and service was excellent in the restaurant.

We stayed in a campsite and signed up for the sunrise river cruise, what a marvelous stay and experience! We loved every bit of it! Be mindful that Angola time kicks in while staying there (1h late as across the river is the border) so if you have some time commitments be sure you set the alarm correctly! We messed up and would have missed the river cruise but as we were the only guests book the guide waited for us 20m extra. Very thoughtful!

Overall a nice lodge at a scenic location. The pool area was recently refurbished and a new terrace with fireplace added to the main terrace. That is great. The meals were good, although we basically got the same main course on 2 consecutive dinners. The staff was friendly. The rooms need urgent attention as they are run-down, very dark etc. The sunset cruise was nice, but the guide decided to keep completely quite for the 2+ hours.

We had a great stay at this beautiful lodge. Everything was perfect. The bungalow is big, perfect equipped and has a beautiful few.
Breakfast and dinner was served at the terrace overlooking the river.
We also enjoyed a wunderful massage, the pool and the fireplace.

It is a marvelous place. We were there for three nights.   Lodge is big, clean with nice beds and a big balcony with nice view at Okavango and Angola. Pool area is really fine. We went for a spectacular boat trip the first day and saw hippos while having a sundowner and we had massage on day two. It was marvelous. Dinner and breakfast was of best quality. Staff very friendly. This place was one of our absolutely best when visiting Namibia.

What a beautiful place. Our room was right on the Okavongo River. The rooms are very spacious with a lovely bathroom. A big deck overlooking the river. Coffee station in room.
The food was well presented and delicious. All meals served on the deck at the restaurant and first class meals.
We had a couples massage at the little spa that was wonderful. The ladies certainly know what they are doing.
Will definitely be back.

Camping facilities were excellent and the lodge is well maintained with fantastic recent upgrades to pool and deck areas. Staff very friendly, efficient and helpful. Highly recommended!

Enough of the dream has manifested to make it five stars but there are some compromises. The bathrooms are not connected to the room and involves a chilly streak for mid night visits. Sadly we couldn’t enjoy the beautiful bath as the hot water had been exhausted. That said it’s a romantic setting.
The food on the first night was grim and explains why Leo is so fat. However, the following night the camp dog went hungry (despite his accomplished begging skills) and all three course were good, including an excellent steak (somewhat over seasoned though).
This place is in the countryside, close to a local village which provides the lovely staff. It was nice to feel that your wallet’s presence will bring opportunities that wouldn’t otherwise exist for them.

We have stayed several times at Riverdance and it is always a real pleasure. Luxury Chalets as well as luxury campsites with private ablutions. All nicely built and perfectly maintained. We will allways go back there when in the area. (Just the geyser on campsite 2 didn't work very well).

We had an amazing stay at Riverdance. I would really like to go there again. Fron the first moment till the last moment were totally amazing. Nice campsites and friendly staff.
