The Cormorant House

Good location. Splendid ocean view from the room window. Rooms tidy and clean. Everything as it should be. Safe parking place. The managers very open, friendly and helpful.

Well equipped for those desiring a self-catering option. Secure parking. Great location with nice ocean view. I stayed in 14 different lodges/hotels during my tour of Namibia. This was the most comfortable bed in all of Namibia.
My only recommendation would be to upgrade the locks. The skeleton key lock is aggravating. If key alignment is off just a millimeter the key will not go into the lock. Sometimes I fumbled 10-15 seconds with the key trying lock or unlock the door.

Absolutely loved our stay! The oceanfront location was stunning, with the sound of waves crashing on the rocks. The view was simply magnificent. The little kitchenette was perfectly equipped with everything we needed, and our room was crisp and clean. Very comfortable bed. Secure parking for our car.
But what really made our stay special was the staff — they were an absolute pleasure to deal with. We'll definitely be back! 5-star recommendation from us!

I believe most rooms have an ocean facing view. The patios on a nice day are fantastic. Great views and warm sun.

Our stay at Cormorant House in Lüderitz was a real blessing. Our room faced the sea with a balcony and a view of the sunset. Spacious and well equipped self-catering accommodation.

Beautiful and cozy Self Catering Flat directly at the sea. Very friendly and helpful receptionist. Clean and tidy, parking space and central. Would stay there again.

This place is perfect! We were amazed how beautiful the room was, it had everything we needed. And the view — stunning! Will definitely stay there again.

Cormorant is a wonderful apartment hotel. Our flat was so comfortable, spotlessly clean and well decorated with an excellent attention to detail. We were so happy to stay here, especially after several days camping. Alma and her colleague were very delightful, very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely flat with a terrace overlooking the sea which was magnificent.

We spent one night at the Cormorant House. The room and bathroom were very spacious, tastefully decorated, and very clean. The self-catering facilities were complete and extensive, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay here again anytime!

The room was beautiful. Very spacious. Larf balcontact with 2 rockingchairs where you can see the sunset. Good bed. There was a small kitchen with everything you need. Private parking space. We would definitly stay hier again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

What a delightful stay at Cormorant House. Very pleasant staff. Amazing rooms right on the sea. You can stand on the balcony with the sea crashing on the rocks right below you. Clean and very comfortable rooms.

This is a great spot especially if you take a room with a balcony. Sitting in a rocking chair looking out to an active sea and watching the sunset, or at any time of day was a beautiful experience. Everything is good quality and the people who work there are excellent.

Quite simply, a jewel in Ludertiz. Very well appointed (large) rooms with comfortable beds, generous bathroom with shower and tastefully modern. Coffee on the balcony in the morning will be one of those 'forever' moments. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending The Cormorant to business and holiday travellers — it's a true gem!

Beautiful hotel with an amazing view over the sea. Comfortable beds, private parking and close to possibly the most beautiful city of Namibia. Staff is very helpful in booking activities.

Gorgeous rooms with balconies right on the water. The rooms are large and have a kitchen plus a huge covered picnic brai area. The room was comfortable and sparkling clean! There is one room with no balcony but we upgraded to another room and really enjoyed the balcony. The ladies at the front desk were very nice.

The self catering rooms are on Shark Island with a room terrace right at the water. The rooms are very spacious, excellently equipped. There is parking right outside each room, and a security guard patrols. If you want to braai (barbecue) there is a covered room for that purpose. There is really nothing that can be held against this accommodation; hence the title.

Beautiful, clean, comfortable and stocked with all you need to feel great. The balcony is right on the water so the views are amazing. Luderitz is small so everything is close by. 24 hour guard makes access easy.
