Fig Tree Guesthouse

I had the pleasure of staying at APS Guesthouse in Windhoek for almost a week and had a very pleasant experience. The place is well-maintained with clean and comfortable rooms. The staff is friendly and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere throughout my stay.
Meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, were of high quality and well-prepared. The location is excellent—close to a mall and offers great value for money.

The guesthouse is perfect. Nice well equiped and clean rooms, refreshing swimming pool and great atmosphere. The staff was extremely helpful in all my travel arrangements.

Very secure place.
The Honeymoon bedroom is amaaaaaaaazing.
The service is incredible.
Friendly employees.

We spent here 4 nights. Guesthouse is worth money we paid. Room was big and clean and they cleaned it up every day. Service was great. Breakfast wasn't that good, but there was Coffee, Juice, bread and fruit salad.

We stayed at APS Guesthouse for one night at the end of March 2022.
PROS.
The hotel was in a great location in the city centre.
We had a lovely room overlooking the pool and which had the King Spa Bath which was great. The room was very spacious and including his and hers sinks.
The whole place was very quiet (possibly because there were few guests there).
The day we arrived, we had a lunch which they helpfully cooked us after it was supposed to have closed. It was great food and great value for money. The food was also great at breakfast and huge portion sizes!
We also asked for a recommendation for dinner which the manager kindly helped us to book (as they didn't take online reservations). It was called Cape Town Fish Market, was 5 minutes drive away and it was a gorgeous restaurant with lovely views. We recommend having sushi and going to see the sunset!
All staff were super friendly, hospitable and welcoming.
Finally, there was plenty of private parking and the gate closed/locked when it got dark (though you had your own fob to get back in later at night).
CONS.
The only con is the internet was available in the rooms but was a bit flaky. The internet in the main area however worked very well and was one of the best on our stays in Namibia!

The room was very nice, big comfy bed. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Safe private parking. Excellent location!
Unfortunately our toilet seat was broken, we didn't have warm water for a day. Most of the TV channels didn't work and on the last day of our stay the Wi-Fi in our room wasn't working either. I used the laundry service to have a few things ironed but after they ironed it, they folded it up and I had to have it ironed again. The shuttle service is ridiculously expensive.
