Enjoying a nice coffee and light meal — service outstanding-

They are not honest people, I lost my eye glasses there, which I am 100% sure, but they claimed they haven’t found them.

What a beautiful lodge! Nice spacious rooms and surroundings. Very helpful, hospitable and friendly staf and the food ❤️ just love it here.

The place not too far from the city, so best of both worlds: close to the city but hidden in the natures tranquility, clean & awesome set up! all in all, the staff so helpful & the owners hands on. It was just a day visit bit got to meet everyone around as literally every other random minute one pass by, smile and acknowledge your presence: "… is everything still ohk? "

It’s a beautiful place, away from the city noise and with excellent service.

I had a horrible experience at this Lodge in 2016. Not recommending it to anyone! Please stay away, especially if you’re black.

Good place to be at Immanuel wilderness lodge.

Nach einer schlaflosen Nacht im Flugzeug waren wir froh darüber, in der Lodge zu entspannen. Sie ist günstig gelegen nördlich von Windhoek. Unser Zimmer war sauber und für eine Übernachtung ausreichend. Leider hört man auch nachts den Verkehr der nahe gelegenen B1. Um die Lodge herum entsteht ein Industriegebiet, die Geräuschkulisse wird jedoch, wie schon geschrieben, vom Straßenlärm der B1 dominiert. Auf dem Gelände der Lodge kann man unter anderem Antilopen und Strauße sehen, z. B. Wenn man auf der Terrasse beim Sundowner sitzt. Die Gastgeber, Sabine und Stefan, sind, wie auch das ganze Personal, sehr freundlich. Stefans Kochkünste haben uns begeistert: Biltongsuppe und Gnufleisch — lecker!

It's the best lodge outside town just love the service.

Great place. The restaurant was the highlight of our stay. The food is great and its not that expensive either. The pool is nice and clean. The rooms are nice, but I don't like the smell of thatched roof and wood varnish. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. There isn't much to do though and there isn't much wildlife to see.

Good food but rooms do defenitly need a workover.

Fantastic Lodge in the N of Windhoek (~ 17km) near the N1 direction Etosha pan. Great ambiance with Bungalow style accommodations with AC and swimming pool and secured parking facilities. Highlight: Dinner and Breakfast in "hoods" quality for the German family.
Good price — performance ratio. Absolutely recommended, as lonely tip!

Very nice lodge near Windhoek with exquisite food (here the chef cooks). Directly by the Autobahn a 1 in 30 kilometers from Windhoek to reach. Recommended for the start or end of a round trip through Namibia. You should plan for at least two days.

We spent a night at Windhoek Game Camp. You are accommodated in a luxurious tent including a bathroom. The bed is fantastic and very comfortable. On the terrace in front of the tent there is a small, well-equipped kitchenette — even with a microwave! :) Barbecue is also lost! We did not see giraffes or other animals that live on the site. All the time we had a misused golden retriever with us, which belongs to the owner of the complex.
The Game Camp is perfect for — or departure and within 20 minutes of Windhoek. A small quiet oasis outside the city.
This property is a self-catering camp. If you want a delicious dinner, you can drive to Immanuel Wilderness Lodge, which is located in the immediate vicinity. The food is fantastic and also known beyond Windhoek!
A clean, small pool and Wi-Fi can be found at the main house!

Great lodge not to far out of the city.

Overall, a lovely place. The restaurant and lobby area are cozy. The owners (and their dogs) are great! I think the room can do with an upgrade. Breakfast was alright. Strong Wi-Fi signal!

Nice place with nice people, food.

Great place. German-owned, with excellent view, nice restaurant and very warm-hearted in keepers.

Decent room and facilities, but biggest highlight is the dinner and breakfast due to the lodge's efforts to procure local delicacies.

We had a lovely time! With a 1 year old it can be tricky to find a place that is toddler friendly. Here we could explore, pet friendly cats and dogs. Look at turtles and tarantale. And of course enjoy a swim in the pool. Free! fast! Wi-Fi so that our daughter could watch some YouTube on the iPad so we could enjoy breakfast and dinner. (Including the other guests) Patient and friendly staff. Good food with a nice wine selection. Very happy.

The Immanuel Wilderness Lodge is just outside Windhoek. You can reach it in only 15-20min from the City or in 40min from Windhoek Airport. The Lodge is owner managed and Sabine and Stephan are brilliant hosts who take care of you at all times. The Lodge is small and intimate and you get plenty opportunities to collaborate and mingle with local people from Windhoek or Farms in the country site. They are either friends of the owners or provide organic food, meat etc. To the Lodge. As a traveler you get a very personal and in depth inside of Namibia you won't get elsewhere. Stephan is a Chef for Passion since he is six years old and from my experience he provides the very best Dinner in the Country. It is a 4-course set menu, provided with all organic ingredients and self aged farm meat (I was so over Buffet from all the other places). Also the breakfast is superb. Immanuel is perfect to calm down after having arrived in Namibia and to start your tour through the country in an already relaxed mode. Or to enjoy the last days before you fly back without driving anymore. The rooms are clean, provide everything you need but are not luxurious. But the atmosphere, the engery, the hosts and the food will make this up a dozen times.
