We used Sandwerf for a team building event for 2 days. Proximity to windhoek is a benefit for guests looking for conference, accommodation and activities within an hour’s drive. Farm-style breakfast lunch and dinner reminds me of a home cooked meal, soulful and tasty. The staff are let’s sound o help out or point you in the direction of the activities on offer. Toy sized ponies are super cute to pet and look at. Ducks, geese, chickens and many others are all around thr chalets. The Alpacas are also worth seeing. Several pools available for swimming, some rooms have their own. The horses and stables are quite phenomenal and should be visited. Horse riding only available as part of their unique equestrian experience so contact them to learn more about it. The chapel is available for weddings and lavish events; the building is perched half way up a hill and had splendid views over the area and distant mountains.
The buildings are modern and have an airy feeling about them. Sandwerf has a reasonable amount of interesting features they’re busy adding at the moment, including a vineyard.
