The place is soo peaceful, customer service is up to standards.

Nice Place, we come in 17 years, a year!

We camped there recently. We were given a "spot" next to the hotel, behind incomplete facilities — no electricity. I do not think it can be called a campsite. We had to pay N$132, 00 for 2 people for the night. Sorry not recommended at all — the most expensive we have paid for the worst spot and facilities.

We where at the Hotel just now; and its still open for business. Spoke to the owner; he still has 17 rooms available; not al where lost in the fire! Had a delicious home-made breakfast, friendly staff, and still a warm cosy atmosphere! Please don't pass on this little gem! You won't be sorry.

Do not go here. The owner assaulted his worker for helping us with a flat tyre. He was racist and swore at us violently. He fired the worker when the worker was just being nice to us. Do not support this man, they did not have any of the food we wanted and the hotel has been burned down.

I stayed for two nights and hiked in the surrounding hills. The cottage we stayed in was awesome. The pool was perfect temp, food average but good. If the passenger train to Aus and Lüderitbucht ever becomes a reality, the Hotel at Seeheim is going to be full every night!

We booked for feb 2018 for 5 of us and asked the receptionist if there is electricity supply for our trailer and bakkies for our fridges, this was confirmed on arrival this was not the case and was told thet could only assist later that night.
This was not good enough for us as we have been on road for 12 hours already and the fridges were already starting to defrost, we had no option but to move on and find accommodation somewhere else.
After our trip and returning back to SA we contacted seeheim for a refund and thos just falls on deaf ears the owner or manager mr kloppers doesn't reply.
Again we await a response.

I would strongly advise anyone to stay away from this hotel. It is quite likely the most dysfunctional establishment I have been to in a long time. I was there over the holiday season when the owner was in charge with a temporary staff. He berated them constantly in front of guests so much that he made one poor woman cry. When he spoke to us alone he was constantly making racist jokes and using racist language. The worst was when my friend complained he had ordered food and it was late. The owner lined up all the employees in front of my friend and made him point out the people he had placed the order with. Those employees were then verbally abused and berated.

Spend more than just a day. Fantastic place and fantastic people.

This place is terrible. Dinner took 1 hour to make and was awful (today's SPECIAL) — ribs only with bones only, I was still hungry I had to eat bunch of cookies afterthat. Also that camping site with "grass" was full of ants and excrements from local animals — dogs, cows, chickens. Also there is absolutely nothing to do or see around, just dust. Old train was moved away long time ago. Just skip this place.

Nice staff, lovely freshly squeezed orange juice, and much needed supply of Diesel (tiny station! closes for lunch but operated by very friendly staff)

Most attractive place in Namibia.

This is great place to visit. The location are great and the staff very friendly and the host great. Very nice bar area and the food good. You need to visit this old historic stone hotel in this remote area of Namibia. The owner do a lot of woodwork here that are beautiful.

Good food, good service and very friendly hosts. It was fun to chat with Parrot Amaruru.
