Oppi-Koppi Rest Camp

We decided to go to Etosha for our first visit. It was such a delight to find this amazing place after driving a very long way. The staff were super friendly, our room was clean and the beds were super comfy. I would highly recommend staying here. We had very tasty pizzas too.

Nothing special. It is twice as expensive than the nearby Ann's Chalet and Camping.
This place offers scam: do not buy here vouchers to a nearby Omusaona Traditional Himba Village. The Himba people do not get any profit from this money. Go directly to Omusaona Traditional Himba Village — they will welcome you.

Great placer for a stay during trip to Epupa. In fact was soo good that we got there one more night on the way back.
Food was great and the camping spot had all the things you need. Common area with sowers quite nice and clean.

Very comfortable stay with 2 ostrich and a springbok on site, at 20:00 porcupine can be seen near the pool. Unfortunately reviews was before breakfast if I remember I will edit it after breakfast. Probably the best place to stay and eat in kamanjab just not the water is not safe for drinking but they provide you with plenty of of bottled water.

Just a big "WOW" from our side. A perfectly maintained and beautiful rest camp, free of charge for overlanders with foreign number plates.
You get your own spot with a covered kitchen area, sink, benches, table, and power supply. The toilets and showers are close by and in excellent condition. The restaurant offers a wide selection of outstanding meals at fair prices – and everything tastes absolutely great.
Clear recommendation from us: 10/10.

This is a nice campsite. Well laid out and constructed.
It’s closer to the noise of the town than one would like. Party noise and dogs barking well into the night.
I chose this place to camp because of the pool, but it’s slimy inside and smack-bam in the middle of the restaurant, so you can’t swim without an audience only meters from you.
The staff are so unfriendly. Barely a greeting on arrival. I was treated like an inconvenience, with the lady that checked me in only half focused on me; almost as if she was hoping I’d go away or someone else would help me.
The other staff are miserable, none of them greet or smile. There was kitchen staff sitting at the pool area; with one playing music on her phone.
I won’t go back. There’s lots of other options to try.

Great place to stay on your way out of Etosha from the Galton Gate. Very clean and comfortable rooms and the staff is nice and helpful. The Breakfast was without a doubt the best breakfast we had in Namibia, and it is served in a beautiful garden visited by hundreds if birds.

Nice Campsites, we didn’t book in advance and got a 50% walk in discount! Nice restaurant and pool. Fast Wi-Fi and great service.

The place is great and clean. They make great food. The people in general are amazing when it comes to service.
Always double checking if all is well.
The rooms are clean. The AC works perfectly because it’s hot right now.
Overall a pleasant stay.

Very clean and pleasant place. Welcoming ostrichs and porcupines. Food was excellent. Also the place where you can get the key for Pete Albert’s rock engravings.

Eccellent lodging in the middle of nowhere.
Great room, great dinner. Very kind personal. I would repeat if I come nearby.

Fair prices for nice Chalets.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner is provided. The bar is very big with a lot of „Jägermeister“.
At night coming the porcupines and the banana bird in the morning.
The hotel is next to a small village, gas stations and supermarket is near there.

The service was great. We spent a night at the campsite. The pool is great, and the service is very good. With props to the steak, best I’ve ever had. Will definitely return once I travel Africa again!

Perfect rest stop on the way to Etosha Game Park via Galton Gate. Having a private kitchen area and a table u set an awning was great.

Bad Bad Bad… we as tour guides/drivers… get the shortest stick in the this one. The room is not bigger than a wendyhouse with one window and 4 holes covered with guaze to keep mozzies and flies out… but not the cold.
Winter is here people… make a plan.
Toilets is outside the "guide room"… have to walk in the cold to and from the facillities that is +-40-60m away.

We camped after a long day travelling along the Kunene River road from Epupa Falls at campsite which was large enough for us to manipulate our caravan easily and adjacent to the ablutions. 220V power was available. Ablutions were clean and tidy, with plenty of hot water. We ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and the dinner in particular was excellent. Wi-fi connectivity was good. The establishment has a number of chalets well laid out although we did not make use of them.

We stayed for one night on our way to Etosha. I think it’s okay for quick stopovers but I wouldn’t want to stay longer. We camped and it was really loud throughout the whole night due to a bar which is close to Oppi Koppi, sirens from the police station and dogs barking. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. The food was okay but compared to what we ate at other places it was mediocre and overpriced. There is a swimming pool which is nice and clean. Generally, the whole place was really clean, also the shared bathrooms. The staff was very friendly.
