Mount D'Urban was one of the highlights of my Namibia motorcycle trip. The campsites are spacious, private, and beautifully laid out, with excellent ablution facilities that are spotless and well maintained.
The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The peaceful surroundings, mountain views, and attention to detail make this a place where you immediately want to stay longer.
A special mention goes to the freshly baked farm bread served with homemade jam – absolutely delicious! It's something you simply have to try.
If you're travelling through southern Namibia, don't miss this hidden gem. I will definitely be back and can highly recommend Mount D'Urban to anyone looking for a quiet, well-managed, and truly memorable camping experience.
Stayed here a for a few days a couple of weeks ago and can honestly stay this has been our favourite campsite so far travelling around southern Africa. Each pitch has a fantastic view, private bathrooms with a great outdoor view. There are some fantastic walks on the property that take you up to some great viewpoints. There is a lovely farm shop on site where you can get meat, braai supplies and various jams and chutneys. They bake fresh bread every day which is delivered to your pitch. The site is run by a lovely couple and made the stay a fantastic experience. Highly recommend this site if you're travelling in this area.

This place is a MUST stop stay on your Namibia road trip. The owners did such an exceptional job curating these unique campsites and you can tell all the work that went in to laying each stone with their hands and planting each native plant. The bathrooms and showers at each site were something out of a romantic movie. We made dinner outside of our caravan for the first time as we couldn’t imagine not taking in every minute of the surrounding landscape. The sunset was one of the best we had on this trip and we were regretting not having more than one night to stay there. Pro tip: stay at the property for a few nights, hike the trails they built nearby, swim in the lovely pool and each lunch in the garden, buy eggs and bread made by the owner and just relax. Meeting the couple that spent their lives raising a family here and bringing in each tree to build their dream property is just such a magical story. My partner and I will remember this place for the rest of our lives. Thank you for allowing others to come experience your slice of heaven on this earth.
