The Farm Shop

We called in to see if we could have lunch. The owner kindly prepared us a delicious cheeseboard with local cheeses, homemade chutney, bread, salami and a salad with ingredients from their organic farm. We were given a warm welcome by the owners, who were happy to chat with us. We ate outside on the terrace under the shade of a large tree — a very nice setting. I certainly recommend.

So amazing. Lots of animals. Kudu, Eland, horses, geese, turkeys and dogs. The owners are so gracious and kind. The staff are so attentive. The food is delicious. The space is beautiful. The sunrises and sunsets are stunning.

We popped in unannounced for a quick lunch and that was an excellent idea. Very friendly and a very nice light lunch. Name a little misleading as there is no shopping though.

Great host. Delicious food, friendly and funny conversations. It's a pleasant place to be. The owners went over and beyond for me even transporting me into town and back when I needed since I didn't have a car. Top notch service. Do not hesitate to come here.

Lovely place to stay, true farm feeling with lots of animals around! Great, great food and lovely hosts. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is far above Namibian standards (best food we had during our trip). A combination of their home grown organic veggies, the best local cheeses and wines and great cooking skills made an evening at the farm shop just an unforgettable experience.
And if you do like the TV series ‘Clarksons Farm’, it’s a must to stay here ;).

What a gem of a stay that was most unexpected. The pictures online don’t do this place justice! Our accommodation was immaculate with everything that we needed after a long day on the road. Ulf and his lovely wife made us feel like royalty with superb service and probably the best meal of our trip, beautifully prepared from home grown farm fresh vegetables and local beef. Breakfast was equally delicious and beautifully presented. It was also great for us to have Ulfs well behaved dogs (I think one may have been a horse disguised as a dog! ) around for company whilst away from our pack. We’ll most certainly be back!

This place is just awesome. We stood here a week, since we worked close by. The owners are gorgeous, super nice, and very helpful. It's a true farm and also antelopes live on the property and come close by. The rooms are cosy and the beds very comfortable. Most importantly, the own grown, organic food and it's preparation are outstanding. Way above lodge standards in Namibia! Also, the offers at the bar are highly divers, fulfilling any wish. The dogs around provide a secure environment and sundowners are accompanied with fruit bats! Finally, the property offers opportunity for a nice hike or good round for jogging. A highly recommendable accommodation for everyone enjoying nature, farm flair, highest quality food, and entertaining company of a lovely namibian-german couple.

I spent a night on this farm, in the company of dogs, chickens and other animals. The position is good and the price is below average. The owner is a unique person. Nice and kind, like everyone in Namibia, but also industrious and direct, like a true German. Chatting with him is stimulating, he is now a farmer but I hope that one day he writes a book with his memories. Lucia is a lovely and welcoming person. Thanks and see you next time.

Camped there one night with our rooftop tent and enjoyed this beautiful farm house with our hosts and their awesome dogs! We tasted their delicious organic watermelon, super!
