Very comfortable place with individual "cabins. " They're actually individual brick buildings. You get a good sized space with a comfortable bed, a small porch, some animals and fruit trees to watch, and a good restaurant on site. There isn't much else around, so stay here. You can also camp here.

Recently we stayed at Pondoki rest camp to break up our long journey from Senyati Safari lodge in Botswana via the Caprivi Strip on route to Windhoek.
Pondoki rest camp has camp sites with kitchens and toilets and small out buildings or chalets, which is what we stayed in, even though we had a roof top tent, we wanted to sleep in a nice comfortable bed. The rooms are well equipped with everything you need for a night. Fridge, tea and coffee and an AC.
Pondoki has a lovely restaurant, bar and undercover seating area. Really stunning! Friendly staff and owner. Their menu in the restaurant is outstanding. That night we ate in the restaurant and enjoyed a game fillet with marrow in the bone (special menu). It was delicious and as a tourist from the UK the prices were a steal. They are listed about 5 minutes from Grootfontein. I highly recommend this place.
