Namushasha River Lodge is next level. The setting is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly positioned on the river — you’re surrounded by nature, birdlife, and calm the entire time. Waking up to the sounds of the river and watching the boats go by is something else.
The lodge itself is well maintained, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The staff are exceptional — friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure you’re taken care of. Service feels natural and warm, not forced.
The food was top-tier, with great variety and quality, and the overall atmosphere of the lodge makes it easy to completely relax and switch off. It feels exclusive without being stiff.
A great campsite with private bathrooms. The food in the restaurant is fantastic and of high quality. The view from the lodge is breathtaking. With a bit of luck, you might see hippos, elephants, and crocodiles.

We spent 1 night at Namushasha River Lodge before leaving Namibia to Botswana. The room is modern, clean and comfortable. Also did the afternoon river cruise which was nice.
The real highlight was the very friendly house cat GINGER. She chills around the lobby and is very affectionate.
