We have used this stop-over quite a few times, on our way to Hentiesbay. It is for us the ideal sleep-over. We have used the A-frame huts, as well as the two-bedroom chalets. All are very comfortable for a good rest. We have also used the restaurant, but best are their braai packs! I will definitely use it again and can recommend it sincerely.

East Gate Rest Camp is the perfect destination to stay if one leaves Windhoek in the afternoon to get a head start to SA.
The bungalow has everything one needs especially a well working air-conditioning system (crucial)
We had dinner at the restaurant. Food was delicious. Drinks really cold and service excellent.

The rooms didn't have a fan. The heat is extreme. And Wi-Fi didn't work. Lots of bugs in the pool. Had to spend 30mins fishing them out. Overpriced for what you get.
