You couldn't ask for a better final stop. The campsite is fully paved, which after weeks on gravel and sand was an absolute pleasure — we took the opportunity to unpack everything from the back of the bakkie and wipe the dust off.
The site has a large undercover area with a washing-up station, and a private ablution block made up of three separate spaces — shower room, toilet, and an entrance/passage area big enough to store gear behind a large sliding door.
A great note to finish the trip on.

Very neat and clean and functional campsite. The supplied gas stove is a great initiative and the viewing deck make for a great Namibian sunset.

Title: Friendly Stay with Great Help When We Needed It.
We had a good overall experience at Beta Lodge. The place has a nice, relaxed atmosphere, and the dogs around the property were very friendly, which added a pleasant touch to our stay.
What really stood out was how kind and helpful the owners were. We had trouble with our car, and they genuinely helped us sort things out, which we really appreciated. That kind of support makes a big difference when you’re traveling.
There are just a couple of things to keep in mind. Wi-Fi is only available in the common/port area and not in the rooms, which can be a bit inconvenient. There were also quite a lot of mosquitoes. Additionally, there was a slight issue with the sewage smell at times.
Despite these small downsides, the kindness and helpfulness of the hosts made our stay a positive one overall.
