Fantastic place with the most helpful staff you can imagine! Nice and clean rooms, beds with mosquito nets and a very nice breakfast.

Large room, good Breakfast, bed with mosquito net, quiet. Takes about 40min to go downtown by train (300kyat). We got there at 7am, early check in and breakfast was offered without additional costs. Highly recommended. Taxi downtown should not be more than 4000-5000kyat.

I have stayed in alot of places on yangon and bamboo place has by far been the best, infact its very unique there is no better, you'll have all you need the rooms are perfect, just off baho road which will take you anywhere In yangon very easy, train station is only a short walk away and has great resterants, but the best aspect is the people, full of happyness and will move mountains to help you in anyway they can, to you all at bamboo place thank you so much, I will definitely return to stay with you all again some day,

If there is one place you MUST stay in Myanmar, that's the one! It's very nice, clean and quiet, Wi-Fi is good and breakfast is amazing, and the best part is the staff : Nwe Zin and her family are the most lovely people ever and they will do their best to help you (even once you're not in the country anymore! ) and to make your stay unforgetable. We thank them a lot for everything and wish them all the best!

My friend and I started our 2-weeks-trip through Myanmar at Bamboo Place Yangon at the End of March 2015. After this wonderful journey through a magic fairyland we decided to come back again, because we felt so welcome at this calm location. The whole staff was so friendly and helpful. I stayed at Bamboo Place more days longer than expected regarding my application for my 2month visa for Thailand. „Thingyan“ started the following week and the Thai embassy was closed during … these days. „Thingyan“ means 4 days water festival with DJ’s, stages, music, tons of water in the streets, dancing and happy, laughing people all over the place. Simple crazy…
The whole staff went out one day. They took me with them and took care of me like a part of their family. We had so much fun, we were dancing and laughing. This was one of these days in my life I will never forget. The rooms are very clean, the beds are cozy. A beautiful large wooden table is located outside in the garden. It is the meeting place for breakfast (with real coffee, black and green tea, fresh fruits, egg, tasty bread and a large choice of sweet and savoury spreads & Nutella! :-D) and of course for chats with other guests. It is also a place where you can listen to Nwe Zin while she is telling fascinating stories about Myanmar people, life and history. If you are curious about their Make-up, she will show you how they produce „Thanaka“.

Bamboo Place is beautiful, comfortable and affordable and the owners Nwe Zin and her husband are wonderful, kind people. My husband & I had a great time there and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Yangon. We also met a lot of really fun travelers at breakfast every morning! Thanks Nwe Zin for such a great stay!

I work as a tour leader in Myanmar so I've been to quite a few hotels/hostels/guesthouses in Yangon — this one is definitely the BEST one! Villa like accommodation within quite environment (but there are a lot of shops, teashops and excellent restaurants around) ; spacious, clean and cozy rooms; nice courtyard where the delicious breakfast is served. I stayed in Bamboo Place with my wife and two-and-a-half-year-old daughter and we really appreciated the friendly family attitud…e (we even got kids flip flops as a gift! ). Dear Bamboo Place, thank you very much for everything! We will definitely come back again! THIS is the Nr. 1 place to stay in Yangon!
