A nice hotel with friendly staffs.

Kindly staff and clean room. Good sight restaurant.

Rooms and amenities were basic, but still clean and reliable. Be aware that you might not get hot water. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I’d stay here again, especially for the price! It’s also in a great part of town.

It is one of the nice hotels in Mandalay. Room prices are reasonable. Breakfast is also good both traditional and western styles.

This place needs some major upgrading. And the room prices just not justify what we get.

All of facilities given by hotel are good.
It is also fine that you can have a breakfast seeing the city with bird eye view.
But you will see smokers who smoking in front of no smoking signboard.

Affordable stay in Mandalay with a nice rooftop bar. Drink prices are a little high at the sky bar, but they have a great view of Mandalay hill and a telescope to take a closer look which is really nice. Could do with some updating in general, but was well kept and clean. Very friendly staff!

Has Nice and clean room and breakfast. Service by the staff is very pleasing and it's only cost around 25$ and they got luxury room and roof bar too. I would give 4 star.

Front desk staff very helpful and nice. Place needs a major renovation — rooftop dining room accessed only through dank/dark hallway/stairway with disgusting, stained, worn-through carpet. This place markets itself as 4-stars but it's 1-star by Western standards, 2-stars by developing-countries' standards. View from rooftop dining room spectacular. All doors to guests' rooms require loudly-slamming in order to shut — that's just inexcusable.

Small room, smelt like sewage, terrible breakfast (like everywhere in Mm). Very helpful reception staff though.

Stayed at the Smart Hotel for 2 days, the hotel was pleasantly surprised. Very friendly staff, home furnishings, service, interior — no complaints! If there is an opportunity to return to Mandalay, be sure Smart HOTEL. Thank you for the comfort and hospitality.
