Hired Amarapura Room for event, the room setting was quite ok but the service was very poor. Smoked Chicken Sandwich was too hard to bite down. Wish Hilton would change their service into good.

Currently staying here. The staff at the lobby was extremely inefficient. We got here at 2.45pm with advance booking and our rooms weren't ready. The check-in time apparently was 3pm, which is late-ish compared to other hotels. But every place has its rules and so be it. Here's what really ticked me off: 1. One staff member took 15 minutes to figure out our rooms weren't ready. I don't know what they were typing away in their computers for the entire duration. 2. We were travelling for business and started working in the lobby. They took exactly 58 minutes to get an extension. And that, with two reminders in the middle. We were told that required the approval of the general manager of the hotel. You've gotta be kidding. 3. Also when I went back at about the 50 minutes mark for the second reminder, the same staff said the extension could potentially disturb other guests. The entire lobby was empty except for three other guests sitting down at a corner and we were sitting quite close to the power outlet (but not close enough to get the laptops charged directly). There is absolutely no chance of anyone tripping over the wires, if that's the concern. To be fair, it was one single staff with really bad attitude, and her colleague apologised on her behalf. But seriously, this experience is more like walking into a cooperative store in the Socialist era in the 1960s Burma than a Hilton. Ridiculous. I'm staying put only because I've already booked for a few days.

The hotel is well built and the view is really nice. The pool is very refreshing and it was heavenly good to swim. It is very nice and the hotel service was very good. I loved it.

The overall stay experience was good. The lobby area, breakfast venue and pool are well decorated. The welcome and departure process were great and impressive by Afom and his team. The breakfast venue is well designed. The staffa are caring and attentive, especially Le Min Ko and Ac Thien Lo, I am sorry if I cannot remember right names. The only aspect that it could be better in order to meet “Hilton” is in-room facilities, including bath tub, shower area, room decoration and safety box. Totally, I still recommend this hotel for visiting Mandalay.

Was there yesterday and the new renovated pool was one of the great access and the interior decor of main dining room was clean and neat.
However the pool to changing room for male locker was not so convenient as once you finish the pool used you have to pass by the gym to get access the male locker. Pool service was not available around if you like to get some order. Moat Bar was open but there’s no staff available to welcome from the entrance although the restaurant was still empty. The menu was good but still there’s room of improvement to attract guest. Main dining room menu was beautifully design and you can expect international cuisine. The staff at main dining room rendered genuinely excellent customer service although she’s still new in her career she give her best to please the guest.
Overall the service and facilities offer was better than before and more work to be done.

I had the chance to sleep 2 nights at the Hilton Mandalay. The hotel is perfect! The place is quiet. Well located. The staff is really friendly. The restaurant is very good. The rooms are beautiful. I loved it!
