Vilanculos Hotels with a Pool

We had an absolutely incredible stay at Bahia Mar Boutique Hotel. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into paradise.

We absolutely loved our time at Beach Lodge, this was our second visit, the gardens are beautifully maintained, with more than enough seating in the garden, as well as loungers at the pool.

The resort is beautiful, the grounds as well as the cabins. The staff is really friendly and attentive.

Their food is amazing — especially the pizza, which is an absolute must-try! The accommodation is beautiful, comfortable, and very affordable.

I stayed here as an alternative accommodation during the Tourism Summit in November 2025. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout my visit.

We had an amazing stay at Archipelago. I have been several times with my family and they never disappoint!

The rooms are very pleasant, the place is right on the beach, the food is really really good, definitely the perfect place to enjoy a wonderful stay in Vilanculos.

Fabulous chilled out place right on the beach. Lovely warm pool and a restaurant right at the ocean edge. Steven the owner/manager is friendly and very helpful as are all the staff. Room stick n span!

Sabrina and Denis make you feel right at home: we weren’t just guests, we were friends. The staff are wonderful, both at the hotel and the diving club. A refreshing getaway in a five-star setting.

Unfortunately they were booked out on my dates. However, the staff invited us to use their pool, gave us towels and treated us like guests. Lovely local curry and cocktails too. Great view.

We had an absolutely amazing four weeks at Luke’s Place in Vilankulo — a stay we will never forget. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations.

A really nice lodge for a calm stay. The staff is super friendly, the location is top tier, directly in front of the beach.

Stayed here in June 2024 and I wasn’t disappointed. The facilities were decent and the staff were friendly.

Recently stayed at Aguia Negra in Vilancolos. Really good value for money. Reception staff were friendly and on point. Room was well appointed with all amenities placed. Decent sized aircon.

What an amazing experience we had in Boa Gente, what a paradise to relax and disconnect and meet amazing people. The beds are confortable, and the rooms/suites have all you need.

Such a stunning place. Really enjoyed staying there and wish I hadn't left. The view from the cabin is stunning, truly unforgettable. Being waterfront there is easy access to the beach.

The unique architecture of Baraka sets it apart from any hotel I have ever visited. Everything is made from locally sourced sustainable wood, leaves and reeds. The location is unbeatable.

We stayed 4 nights at Casa Jules and it was a great surprise. Valerie offered us an upgrade on the room and Bruno was always nice and helpful. The staff is always available and polite.
