Inhambane Bay Hotels

Absolute gem. Rooms are very well designed — luxurious but with an authentic feel. Super breakfast, great hospitality. Dhow tour highly recommended.

We have frequented Tofo 4 times now and without doubt this is the place to stay. It really is a cut above everything on this amazing beach.

Clean and spacious rooms. I especially loved the top-floor room, which offers great views of the busy market and surrounding streets.

Very beautiful and peaceful place. Had a good time with friends, and all the services were very good, especially the very friendly and helpful staff.

★★★★★ A perfect week in paradise.
My wife and I spent a wonderful week at Sentidos Beach Retreat and it truly exceeded our expectations.

Exceptional service. Francesico went out of his way to ensure we had a fantastic stay! The rooms were beautiful, spacious and family friendly. The location was gorgeous with direct beach access.

Had a wonderful stay at Mango Beach with my husband for 2 nights and wow the place is excellent value for money! Loved the nearly private beach where nobody hassles you.

Such good value for money! One of our favourite spots in Mozambique. Highly recommend and the food is incredible. The gym is an added bonus, owners and staff seem to genuinely care about the guests.

This was one of the best dive shops I have been to. The staff were all friendly, the instructors and dive masters were all very knowledgeable, and the food and drinks were great.

Outstanding experience with liquid dive adventures! One of the most genuine and enthusiastic groups I’ve ever traveled with. Enjoyed the whale swims with Emilia!

We had the best time at Bay View Lodge. Booking was simple and quick and we encountered no problems on the drive there through Giryondo.

Still remember the chalet, very cozy, wood made with a bbq area in the front of the place.
A really good self-service location, great kitchen.

This was an amazing place to stay. Imanual and Linda were super helpful and proactive at solving any concerns we had. It looks exactly like the pictures and was the perfect place to go on a holiday.

Hi there, we stayed at Barra Beach Villa from 20 December to 4 Jan 2024. What a great Holiday house. The Staff were always friendly and went the extra mile.

Such an amazing experience, Foca and Alfredo were the most fantastic guides and made us feel at home. The horses are happy and well cared for, clearly very loved, curious and inquisitive.

Good bloke. Good horses. Good doggos. Good times.
Really appreciated the flexibility in starting late to avoid the rain.
Sehr schön.

Hi,
I went twice to Pariango motel when travelling in Mozambique in October 2025. Both time, people were really friendly and welcoming.

Well. What about this beautiful place?
I started my trip in Africa in March and since then I haven’t been in a better place than Pariango! It’s just wonderful. The best I could have chosen!

We stayed in Pura Vida Cabana for two weeks and it was amazing. The perfect location — right on the beach, only a few minutes walk into the centre of Tofo but still so secluded and quiet.

I stayed for two weeks at the Pura Vida Cabana and I was extremely happy with it. Mel is an amazing host. Whenever I needed anything she was easy to reach and assisted me with everything.

Amazing! Paradise found! The accommodation, the staff, attention to detail, top notch service & friendliness🪷 We could not wish for more💙🩵🤍 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

This resort is so beautiful.

We took our family on the Deep Sea Fishing Charter with Jakkie. It was an experience we’ll never forget.

We have just spent 6 nights at this magical guesthouse situated just above Tofo beach. Our sea view room with private balcony was spacious and clean with comfy bed and all amenities.

Our stay at Vista Do Mar was excellent. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and rested very well. The management and staff took exceptional care of all guests.

Our stay at Vista do Mar this December was one of our best family holidays ever! The beautiful setting, stunning lodge and amazing staff cannot be beaten.

Luxary, very spacious, cozy and perfectly designed room with great attention to the smallest little detail. The owners and the hosts are very nice and welcoming. The sunset views are amazing!

Vertigo Lodge is an oasis in the middle of Tofo.
It is a well-curated, clean, spacious place with great attention to detail.

Amazing! Friendly and helpful staff and owners. Very pleasant stay.

Absolutely gorgeous beyond beautiful views. Staff goes the extra mile. Unit was beautiful and clean. Everything are walking distance. Will definitely return.

Great place, loved it a lot! The common dining area is completely open, which provides fresh air and gives the space a super chilled atmosphere.

Beautiful place to stock up on some tranquil peace of mind and body. Huge area with widely spaced accommodation, a quiet pool, yoga salad, and delicious, well priced food from the kitchen.

Loved the spot views etc.
Food was good — but not amazing.

Really great spot in Tofo. The location is beautiful, right on the cliff overlooking the ocean. I ate here a few times and tried different dishes.

Excellent place for family holiday.
Even better if you like surf fishing.
Stayed here a few times on business already on business trips.

Magnificent property on one of the most beautiful in Mozambique. A French family who knows how to make their guests feel more than welcome. A must in Mozambique, not to be missed!

A beautiful lodge to stay in. The views are spectacular and the staff are excellent and so friendly. The food was truly delicious everyday.

Remarkable stay at Travessia enjoying the stunning location, beautiful scenery, tremendous hospitality and absolute tranquillity.

We stayed in Kumba Lodge for 6 nights and had a great time. The surroundings are amazing whether you stay in the garden or in the ocean view bungalows.

Amazing stay at Kumba Lodge!
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure we felt at home. The food was delicious, and the yoga lessons (included! ) were a real highlight.

I no this place, best guest house. I enjoyed much. Congratulations.

My family and I spent 5 nights at Venha Juntos, it was amazing.
Oliver and Ilse were accommodating and assisted us with booking an planning some fantastic activities.

Such an amazing place, great location, really clean and nice rooms and the owners are so sweet (and so is the dog and cat. ) We couldn't have a better stay, truly recommend.

Best hostel I’ve stayed at — certainly the best one in Tofo. Location is great, not even 5 minutes walk from town centre and 2 minutes from the beach.
