I stayed at the Nautilus Hotel during a recent business trip and was pleasantly surprised. It’s a rustic, coastal-style property but easily the best option in Pemba. This is Mozambique after all.

I was for only one night here, and honestly it was a good hotel with gentle staff at reception and also in restaurant, where I had a dinner, also good food. Thank you.

I think this is probably the best budget hotel in Pemba as the rates for the beach resorts are three times the cost.

The hotel is well located next to the beach with a good sea view; the employees are very friendly and helpful all times, the clube Naval Restaurant serves delicious sea food.

Very clean facility, waiters always available to serve and a very sharp security. A bit concern on the cuisine but they can manage a top service.

We loved our stay at Chuiba Bay Lodge. The beach walk was amazing and peaceful. Our hosts, Délio and Maria were gracious and accommodating. The food was wonderful, both dinner and breakfast.

Chuiba was just perfect, a little piece of paradise on the coast of Mozambique. Hot and humid, just the way it should be. Absolutely lovely and comfortable decor, you would think you're in Bali.
