A Haven of peace! A masseuse is just magical. There is no, I will come back.

A nice and comfortable place away from the hustle and bustle of tangier city but not far from its heart.
In a residential and secure area which does not spoil anything.
The view of the hills and the golf course is a plus.
The pool and its facilities are of good quality.
Breakfast is plentiful and the spacious rooms quiet if you sleep on the garden side and not on the pool side.
Don't be surprised to find people other than the residents of the establishment during the day because it is also customary to rent your afternoon in these places to spend a few hours or celebrate a bachelor's degree quid a birthday … In this case the calm will be reserved for you at the end of the day after returning from an excursion or a day shopping in the city.
Parking is possible inside the property if you wish and know that the business is above all a family adventure managed by Rachid and his daughter Amel who are listening to you for your comfort and pleasure with great flexibility which is really appreciable and courteous on their part.
In short, a magical place in a magical land.

The place was beautiful, a huge house, a big pool, a bar in the garden I really liked it. The only thing I would change is the staff when welcoming the guests. After staying at other places in Morocco I found the staff at Dar Tanja the least welcoming. Just an exchange of a few words or recommendations would of made a difference.

Dar Tanja is one of my best stays ever. We stayed here with a group of friends of 27 persons en we felt so at home due to Amal, her father, and everyone else from the staff. From breakfast until later at night where we had a great tajine as dinner we got the best service we could wish for. Although the hotel is in hanger you feel so relaxed away from the city even though you're close enough to everything! Thank you so much and I know 100% I will be back here!

Stay there for a week as I read some great reviews on the hotel. Unfortunately I found not what I expected. The room was ok with very tiny bed. As we reserved king size bed. You have to manage your self around the hotel kitchen schedule if you want to eat. Can't get room service food. Had unpleasant customer service with the waiter as he forgot our breakfast even had to ask three times.

This was a really nice place to stay. It was clean quite and the ambient was very nice. It has a coherent appointment. The staff was really friendly and they fulfilled every wish you wanted. So if anyone wants to stay in Tanger this is the place to be. I can warmly recommend it without no doubt.

What a wonderful experience staying at Dar Tanja! From the beautiful surroundings, to the great service, spacious and comfortable room and last but not least an amazing massage on site! I can't stop singing praises about Dar Tanja. The villa is as beautiful as the pics and very luxurious. It is a welcome oasis from the hustle and bustle in the nearby town. Reasons we were impressed with the service are multifold. A transfer from the train station was pre-arranged with the hotel. We arrived from Casablanca almost 4 hours later than planned due to our early morning train being cancelled and then various delays with the later train. Seeing the friendly and helpful driver on arrival on Tangier was such a relief! And greatly appreciated. On arriving at the villa, you can't help but be impressed — it is beautiful, luxurious and exceptionally well maintained. The hotel manager is so professional and efficient. He offered us an upgrade on our room so you can only imagine our delight. Breakfast was served every morning outside on the terrace overlooking the pool area. We had the best mint tea in Morocco at Dar Tanja! The villa has a few lounge areas where you can relax and enjoy some tea and just contemplate. Stunning garden area as well. Dar Tanja offers a massage service on site and this was booked via the hotel manager. And what an amazing massage it was. I felt like I floated to dinner later that evening.

This hotel offers amazing views, spectacular service, and very comfortable beds. I had to take the night train and the staff let me stay and work in the lobby until 9 pm when checkout was at noon. I will hold that gesture very close to my heart as it is a lengthy wait. They were super accommodating and constantly asked if I needed anything. Superb service to say the least.

This is the most AMAZING place EVER! It was my first time to Morocco and the initial place we had booked was a nightmare finally we found this Hidden Gem nestled in the heart of Morocco and when I tell you the staff is five star the lodging and accommodations is five star I'm telling you God's truth! We're from America and from the moment we stepped into Paradise aka Dar Tanja, we were made to feel like royalty. The management owner and support staff RV on Lovely friendly hospitable kind gracious and attentive. This place is a definite must book if you're traveling in and through Morocco and you need to find a wonderful place to stay.

Superb decor, good food, very welcoming staff, quiet house and sunny swimming pool all day … Perfect for a visit from Tangier to the family.
